  • Choose the correct size, requires 2 people for installation
Size: 13'9"(13'1" Fabric) Color: Black
Good quality, Easy to install. Only thing not 100% clear was choosing the correct size so see below: MEASUREMENT NOTES: If your RV or trailer already has factory installed channels for the awnings polycord, measure the channel length and it should be equal to or less than the awning width. My application had a 12’6” slide (measured outside of flange to outside of flange, and a 13’1” factory installed poly channel). The 13’9” Slide out awning was the largest size that would fit, with the brackets spaced 3/4” from the edge of the inside of the flange. In my situation, the brackets were 11’9” from outside to outside (see photo) and it fit a 13’9” model. The hexagonal bracket bars are approximately 17” and the bracket is 6”. From the edge of where your bracket can mount you have about 11” max on either side. I would recommend shooting for the max size to ensure good overhang of the sides of the slide out to help keep debris and rain off. INSTALLATION NOTES: INSTALLATION TIME: 1-2 hours TOOLS REQUIRED: Cordless drill, (2) step ladders, pliers (to remove cotter pin). Instructions were sufficient but could have been more detailed. Carefully examine the photos. The screws supplied are not the best. The self cutting ends are prone to breaking. Use even pressure and low speed. The only other thing to be mindful of is wrapping the fabric correctly. With the arms in the upright mounting position, the fabric should be flipped towards the camper. I was careful to avoid this. If you do happen to do it incorrectly you would need to rewind the internal spring by turning the shaft and inserting the pin and reinstalling the fabric. This can turn a 1 hour job into a 2-3 hour job. If you have someone able and willing to climb a ladder, this is easy to install. I was able to do it by myself by using the adjacent slide out to hold the awning assembly as I worked the polycord of the awning into the channel. Even with two people I would recommend the same approach. ... show more

  • Measuring is key
Size: 13'3"(12'7" Fabric) Color: White
The material seems very heavy, should last for some time. I installed 2 of these on my 5th wheel rv. Was able to install by myself, where there’s a will there is a way. I ordered a little bigger so I could get better coverage on each side of the slide. Helps keep water off the slide tops. They do make a little noise in high winds. I used an adhesive on the brackets to make it a stronger fit with the screws. The size was just right, I would recommend. ... show more

  • Highly recommend if awning breaks over dlide
Size: 8'3"(7'7" Fabric) Color: White
Easy install and perfect replacement for our slide. No more leak above our slide. Price was fantastic for what this has saved inside our camper. Great quality product.

  • Recommend by 22 year RV tech
Size: 10'9"(10'1" Fabric) Color: Black
I'm a mobile rv tech in the trade for 22 years. With that being said I was really impressed with this awning. It went together vary clean. It does add about 30 min labor to assemble it before install but even after charging for the added labor it was still cheaper for my customer then ordering one of the big 3 awnings and no freight charges. I am not sure what type of material the canvas is but it is allot more flexible and rubbery then standard vinyl. I can't comment on longevity but I'm impressed with the look and feel at time of installation. The awning track is not drilled with screw holes like normal and cut into 3 pieces but is a much heavier material. With all that said I would 100 percent recommend and purchase again without hesitation. ... show more

  • Attaching the Brackets and Extrusion
Size: 13'9"(13'1" Fabric) Color: White
I purchased the 13’-9” awning for my 2025 Jayco Jay Feather. My camper has contoured siding so I was concerned about where to mount the brackets on the slideout. I contacted Jayco to see where they have structural provisions to mount awning brackets but they would not provide any information. I picked a flat part of the siding nearest to the top of the slideout but there was no structure behind the bottom holes (see the picture). I then contacted the service department at my RV dealership and they told me that they try to fasten the brackets as near as possible to the top bezel of the slide out. I moved the bracket up to partially cover the black bezel so I needed to add a ¼” spacer to level out the uneven surface of the camper siding. I used a piece of PVC plastic trim and cut it to thickness. I attached it to the slide out with deck screws using silicone to seal it and attached the bracket to the spacer with more silicone and SST screws (added the second pic). Originally, I used butyl tape behind the bracket to waterproof the assembly and when I measured the self-tapping screws that were provided there was very little thread engagement and self-tapping screws aren’t really necessary to attach the brackets and awning channel to the camper. I used #10 x 1-1/4” SST Screws to attach the brackets to the slide out and #8-18 x 1” galvanized screws to attach the awning extrusion to the camper. I also found it easier to drill 3/16” clearance holes in the awing extrusion. On my particular assembly I located the holes 1-1/2” in from extrusion each end and 5” on center. The screws provided to set the roller bars and the set screws for the awning were fine. I was impressed with the quality of the fasteners and did not strip the heads which usually happens with a lot of kits. ... show more

  • Defective Design and Poor Water Drainage
Size: 13'3"(12'7" Fabric) Color: White
Very poor design. The roller is not strong enough to keep the fabric tight, so rainwater collects on top and runs toward the RV. Water also comes in around the window, and the awning blocks the window from opening properly. I paid for professional installation, but the product still does not work as it should. To get a refund, you have to remove and return the entire awning, which is not easy. Even after removing it, the screw holes will remain open, look bad, and may cause water leaks. Stay away from this product if possible. I do not recommend it. ... show more
