The media could not be loaded. The low reviews stating that the blinds must be adjusted on each side and do not adjust are based on incorrect installs. To install, hang the blind. Pull the plastic wheel on one side down tight and put a screw through the wheel into the wall. See photo. Repeat on other side. But pull the strings tight before screwing to wall. After that the blinds go up and down by a gentle pull or push with one hand in center of blind. The instructions explain this. Install correctly and they are great. The plastic wheels allow you to wind the cord around the wheel so the wheels are screwed on at the same height and also to adjust tension. When you install them, put a few loops around the wheel and put sufficient loops on so they are the same length on both sides. If it is too hard to raise and lower, take off a loop or two. If it does not stay in one place, then tension the strings by putting a couple of loops around a wheel. ... show more

Looks and fit great to replace the old metal blinds. Stringless pulley doesn’t stay in the up position very well if not at all. Worked fine when installed but not once it was in the down position for a few weeks. Doesn’t seem to want to hold the blind up.
