I read a review about this very product last year and the customer was displeased and claimed it was too “fragile”. I tested the product in December of 2023 to now in the new year and I have yet to see why that customer was so unhappy and disappointed. It’s easy to clean, the quality superb and the tea you use, will definitely taste better if you understand tea ceremony preparation and steaming for loose leaf tea and bag tea. This set can be used for work or in your home kitchen. They have a variety of styles to choose from, so I would give the store a try if you’re looking to impress, show off a collection or to just have a nice tea set in general. This should be self-explanatory but, when you pour scolding hot water into the pot, do not handle carelessly. The entire pot will be hot. My suggestion is to put the tea pot on the tray that comes with it or a cloth, kit hen cloth or some kind of thick fabric prior before pouring and allowing tea to steep. This tea pot was not designed to actual make tea. I started making tea and the pot cracked and shattered. The cups are ok…so I kept the cups bc I like them and got an actual tea pot from Costco. Please do not get this set if you want to make tea with it.
