I was skeptical, yet I took a chance. It's very sturdy for I am overweight. The massage is great but the heat never worked but I'm okay with that. It is also not long enough, so my feet hang off when reclined. I am 5'7. For the most part, I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this chair based on some decent reviews and Amazon recommendation. The chair arrived as scheduled with no shipping damage. After assembling the chair, the massage function did not work...the seller was unhelpful, but I did find that a cable was buried deep within the chair and connected it to the massage control, which then worked. Very time consuming to figure this out. The chair itself appears well made, but is very uncomfortable. The cushions are quite firm, and the seating area is small for a taller person. The worse problem is that the leg support is too short and the cushion hard...so it hurts my ankles. I wanted to return the chair. It turns out the policy requires the buyer to pay return shipping! In this case, that cost almost exceeds the cost of the chair..making the return policy worthless. Amazon plays a part in this deception. The description states that the return policy follows amazon return policy...as a very long term amazon customer, I expected a free return for a product with significant problems. No. Even if the chair had been badly damaged, the buyer still has to pay a ridiculous return shipping cost! Lesson learned. Never buy an expensive product from Amazon that does not specifically include FREE returns, and ships from Amazon. Overall, an very disappointing purchase. Amazon needs to more accurately note when return shipping is NOT covered.

I put this wonderful chair together in less than 30 minute, from opening the box to plugging it in. I am pleasantly surprised at the ease of this assembly. It is very smooth and is well built and sturdy. I chose black and it blended well with my other chairs. It goes high enough to help me stand and will help me to get through post operative healing. It has the massage options and a heating function as well. I love my new chair
