Endoscopes are one of those items that most of us will not use on a daily basis, but would be very handy for the times we need them! This endoscope is very affordable and for the price it gets the job done. There are a couple different attachments, such as a hook and a 45 degree mirror to help with retrieving items and looking around bends that the endoscope cannot access. Screwing them on is very simple and changing out the ends is quick and easy. The LEDs on the end of the scope are bright enough to see in complete darkness which is nice. The scope is stiff. This makes it difficult for certain tasks but overall very usable once you get in where it needs to go. Its slightly difficult to understand the orientation of the camera, are we upside down or looking at it from a normal view? But, this is something you get used to and its more to do with the app than the product. The scope IS waterproof and I have tested it many times in drains. The app is barebones, requires access to your camera gallery (which I turn off between uses) and can record pictures and video. The quality isn't like your taking pictures with your modern day phone but it is absolutely workable and useful. Highly recommended!

Very Useful Inspection Camera – Works Great!

I’m very impressed with this inspection camera. It’s easy to use and has been very helpful for checking places that are difficult to see with a regular flashlight or camera. The image quality is clear enough to see small details, and the adjustable LED lights make a big difference when working in dark or tight spaces. The flexible semi-rigid cable is also a great feature because it can be positioned where you need it instead of constantly moving around. I especially like having the different attachments included, since they make it easier to inspect or retrieve small objects in hard-to-reach areas. The camera is compact and convenient to carry around, and connecting it to my phone was straightforward. I’ve used it for looking inside tight spaces and checking areas around the house and car, and it has made these jobs much easier. For the price, I think this is a very useful tool to have at home. It saves time and eliminates a lot of guesswork when you need to see inside a narrow or hard-to-reach area.

This is a mixed bag. It definitely works and in some application can be useful. The picture is pretty good and the lighting isn't bad either. I had no issues hooking it up to my Android phone. The problem is that although it is however many feet long (16?), you can't really use most of that length. You have no control over it and unless the application is very specific, like maybe a smooth PVC pipe, you would have a hard time getting more than a few feet in. Also, you can't turn the head, so forget about using it to borescope a cylinder properly. However, for the price I paid (what the hell, just looked and it is $5 cheaper than when I bought it, arggh!) $30 it was worth it.

Works pretty good. I have used it to see behind my clothes dryer. Takes a little getting used to when trying to view things. Connection was pretty good. I didn’t like having to give certain permissions to be able to use some of the app features so I skip that. You can use the camera without giving the permission you just lose some features which is fine. If I need a pic I just screen shot it on my phone instead of going through the app. This also comes with a little mirror attachment- not sure what it’s used for. I didn’t find it useful or necessary. The mirror is so tiny- I am not sure what you are expected to see. I really like this an am happy I bought it. I do like that it has some stiffness to the line but it still will curl up a little but not too bad. I was able to see in a very narrow space behind my dryer to check my connections without having to pull my dryer away from the mall. Worth the purchase.

Great Budget Tool for Wall and Ceiling Inspections

The Kinpthy 1920P HD Endoscope Camera is an excellent, budget-friendly tool that does exactly what it promises. I purchased this borescope to inspect hidden spaces behind my walls and inside ceilings, and it has saved me a lot of guesswork and unnecessary demolition. 🔧 Setup & Ease of Use The software was a breeze to install and highly intuitive. I had no trouble understanding how to navigate the app and start using the camera right away. Practical Application To inspect my home's interior structures, I made tiny, inconspicuous holes behind electrical outlet covers, recessed light fixtures, and exhaust fans. This camera is the perfect tool for checking the condition of wall pockets, framing, and ceiling joists without tearing down drywall. Build & Maintenance The black cord is flexible enough to maneuver through tight spaces and very easy to clean. To maintain good hygiene and keep the tool in great shape, I simply wipe down the cord with an alcohol wipe after every single use. Key Features • Bright Illumination: The 8 adjustable LED lights provide plenty of visibility in pitch-black spaces. • Media Capture: The photo and video capture functions work smoothly, allowing me to document what I see for later reference. • High Resolution: The 1920P HD clarity is sharp enough to identify wires, pipes, or structural issues easily. The One Downside The only minor drawback is that you cannot actively steer or control the direction of the camera lens remotely. Because of this, it can sometimes be difficult to know the exact orientation or position of the camera once it is deep inside a wall pocket or ceiling space. One thing to keep in mind is the focal distance. If the camera gets too close to an object—like a patch of mold—it struggles to focus, and the image becomes blurry. Final Verdict Given the very economical price, you cannot realistically expect high-end articulation features found on industrial models. For DIY home inspections, this tool offers incredible value and performance. I highly recommend it!

Really good for the price! I bought this W400 endoscope for some quick DIY repairs and it works great. The picture is really clear, the LED lights are bright, and it connects right to my phone with the included adapters. The cable is stiff enough to hold its shape but still bends when you need it to.
