We are enjoying the cool air and quiet operation of the Gasbye 10000 AC unit during these summer months to keep our living room comfortable. So far the unit is working as designed. The unit was relatively easy to install and we appreciated clear instructions as well as the included water drain hose. Also found the included air venting hose connections well thought out. The two hose system seems to be way better than our window AC unit in our bedroom and way less noisy. We also emailed and took advantage of Gasbye free extended 3 year warranty offer - little piece of mind. (3 years total form day of purchase) I also purchase an air vent insulating hose cover for the units heat exhaust hose to keep it from transferring heat back into the room. The exhaust hose can get warm when unit is under a continuous cool down load. Suggestions I mentioned in my email to the company for future units is to back light the entire control panel so the text and symbols are readable in the evening when room is darker. The “power on” button should remain lit continuously. The remote works alright and does have a lighted LED screen but could have a stronger signal. We have notice you mostly need to be standing in front of the unit for the remote signal to be received by the unit. It gets a bit sketchy if you are standing or sitting off to one side, although we have found a way to bounce the remote signal off the walls of the living room back to the unit which does work most of the time. Of course that would depend on your room configuration. We corresponded these suggestions to Gasbye and they were very receptive. Emailed me back and said they had been considering these improvements already. Seems like a very competent company to deal with, very refreshing. If you want cool, quiet AC then this is an excellent unit better than the name brands in my opinion.

Installation was very easy. The unit is extremely efficient with quiet noise levels and I find myself primarily using the inverter mode during the day and night. The unit blows strong, very cold air and cools down the rooms very quickly. I like that the unit self adjusts fan speed if set on Auto to optimize ambient conditions and temperature setting. I am very satisfied with the solid construction of the unit and windows kit as both are high quality materials. The window panels did not quite fit without overlapping the exhaust vent so I had to cut about 2 inches. The remote control is functional though is the only area I think the company can make a few improvements. The Instruction manual is easy to understand with pictures and concisely worded. Customer service seems to be very proactive and responds quickly. The 3 year warranty is outstanding is a primary reason for my decision to purchase this unit. Extremely impressed with the overall product and company support and will definitely consider Gasbye in my future product decisions.

Quality product!! Easy to setup and start chilling! Really like the unit hose connectors that slide into slots vs push the hose in and twist! Hoses are long enough to reach patio door opening easily. Remote was easily to connect with the unit. And most importantly it cooled my large living room/kitchen area fast and little noise. Controls need little help from the documentation for turbo and inverter settings and discovered an 'Easter egg' whereas if you hold the up and down temp controls at the same time you can switch from F to C ... documentation is excellent and easy to read ie don't need my reading glasses good contrast well thought out! Need additonal panels for patio door installation; same with most portable units. Would prefer WiFi so I could control remotely say arriving home in an hour or so and being able to turn the unit on and come home to a cool room. Programmability, ability to set up a routine ie turn on/off at a specific time would be desirable. Cover for storage would be nice as well. Features available on delonghi midea lg et al. But very nice as is and at a great price! Shipping container was well designed and will be able to use for storage. Great value for the money and looking forward to have a cool summer 😎 highly recommended.
