This is my first time using this style of nail set, and i'll probably never go back for 99% of work. I can keep this in my pocket when doing other finish work, and seat problematic nails without having to keep a hammer on hand. Also works great for marking holes for drywall anchors if a product provides a paper template to hang on the wall first!

Working in construction I value good tools that make my job easier. Having this when doing finish work makes setting finish nails a little deeper if needed a snap, literally. No more carrying a separate hammer and nail punch. This fits in a pocket nicely and if you're caulking you can pull this out quickly, set those missed nails and keep going.

Ok, love may be a bit strong, but seriously since I received it its been in my back pocket constantly. I've used this as much as some of my newer power tools. I recently started woodworking a lot more seriously and saw this device being used on a video by a guy I watch a lot. I don't want to mention his name because I am not allowed to endorse anyone but he's pretty popular and had some excellent projects. I saw this and thought that since I have some difficulty with making accurate (or straight sometimes) drill holes and those are very important when trying to build furniture or decorative pieces this might be helpful and it wasn't super expensive so I bought it. Very glad I did. Not only did it help me make more accurate hole placements, it's come in handy when removing nails from pallets as well. Occasionally you get nails that the head is buried and the other end is broken off where you can't get it started back out. However, if you put this into the hole on the "pointed" end of the nail and give it a few snaps most of the time the heads will pop out enough to get them pulled out. I've also used it repeatedly to drive in small nails that have worked themselves out of different areas in my house. One or two snaps and they are usually seated back into place. About the only downside I have found is that it takes a little bit of practice to be able to keep the point you're using on the material or nail that you are hitting when you pull the spring back to hit it. Otherwise I am very happy with this and definitely recommend it.
