installed on a 2008 nissan sentra base, easy to connect the wires to the wiring harness adapter, I did have a problem with it, it would start to restart when i put the volume past 25, the problem was that i needed to connect to the ground wire to somewhere in the car because the wiring adapter i got didn’t have it. So the stereo itself is good , it works , sounds good with my stock speakers and also with the sub i installed, apple carplay itself is good and the touch reaction isn’t slow(beginning screen is a tab bit slow when sliding to more options), but it is wired but i like that bc i was able to get a adapter from usb to type c and i put it in my center console. Works well and having wireless Android Auto is a wonderful upgrade. The touchscreen is not the greatest, and the sometimes needs to be pressed harder than what your phone needs. Touch response is on the slow side, so sometimes you wonder if you've pressed hard enough and then go to press again right when the screen changes, but you get used to it. Overall I'm very happy with this head unit and the fact that it has a volume knob instead of the crappy up/down switches or the god-awful touchscreen volume controls makes this a the best option you can find for the money. ... show more

By far the best headunit in this price range, you never want to go for a brand you've never heard of. Remote wire for my Subs likes to stay on for another 20ish seconds after the car and headunit turns off, causing popping sometimes on my Subs, and CarPlay/Android Auto sound quality is noticeably worse than over Bluetooth, not bad but not good either, and Bluetooth occasionally has really bad lag, but a disconnect and reconnect fixed it. I wish it had a Screen Mirror, but it's fine. UI is great, wish it had more settings, it's pretty basic but gets the job done. Overall a nice deck for the price. ... show more

Installed into a 2005 Chevy Aveo sedan. Installation was very easy. took me about 1 hour with no prior experience. So for I like the DCPA71. It connects easily and quickly to Apple Airplay via USB. Sound quality is decent. The little Aveo does NOT have great speakers. I think with upgraded speakers this would sound as good as a new car with stock speakers. Only complaint is the touch screen is a bit hard to use at times. Example: when using the touch screen to do anything, you have to be very exact with hitting a button. If you are 1 mm off, the screen will beep, but not do the thing you want. You have to look down to hit the perfect button spot. Thankfully there are physical volume buttons. Unit was easy to install with the aftermarket adapters I bought. The customer service was top notch. I give it 5 stars because there was a static sound after installation but I know it was the car. I have an older version of this in my other Santa Fe and I hooked it up on that car and it worked. I was not able to figure it out even with tech support. I ended up returning it and was very dissapointed. I would buy it again if I could figure out the static sound which I believe has to do with the factory Amp but there was no instruction on how to integrate it. ... show more

I think this is a really good radio for the price, the only annoying thing is that one of the buttons has cracked and I only had it for two months. The button itself is broken but the coating on it is. Also, it is annoying when it plays the radio and Apple carplay at the same time but that is an easy fix.
