These are my new favorite chacos ! Easy to adjust and super comfy ! This is my 3rd pair of chacos ! They are so durable . I wore them kayaking, camping, hiking . And I only got new ones because I wanted a new pattern ! My first pair are still I’m great shape !!

The photo is of my old pair & the new, both size 8. New are about 1/8" to 3/16" shorter. I'm ok with that since I'm more of a 7.5. Although I'd wanted a size 7, which I also ordered, & 7 runs smaller than the 7 I tried in stores. I was hoping to make a size 7 work for me, bc the 8 straps don't tighten enough on my narrow foot. I wish the heel strap adjusted, or that Chaco would make a narrow option. Also, these have a crazy strong chemical & rubber smell that is not going away after opening. I don't remember my old pair off-gassing that strongly. ... show more

So so cute.. but ended up returning because they just killed my feet. I adjusted the straps to be looser but they kept tightening by themselves throughout the day. I’ve had chacos before but just didn’t have great luck with these.

Overall the shoes fit as expected. The only downside is that these are definitely knock offs. The sole is softer and no badge on the side, sole, or back like my old Chacos. The canvas used for the straps feels a little cheaper than my first pair of sandals as well. They are not bad shoes, but definitely feel cheaper and lighter compared to actual Chacos. ... show more

    • If your ankle strap is too long or your shoes are tightening, read this.
At first, I was having some of the same problems other reviews mention here: a long, dangling pull strap, not necessarily feeling comfortable support, and straps that tightened the longer you walked. I was debating returning them, but the price for the B/W version cannot be beat, so I gave it another shot and finally figured out how to PROPERLY adjust the main zig-zag straps: the toe loop, the upper foot strap, and the buckle strap. These three are connected, and at first I kept pulling just the toe loop and upper foot strap to adjust, but didn't get good results until I finally pulled more length from the buckle strap to the upper foot strap and adjusted from there. I have very skinny ankles and feet, and my pull straps no longer dangle off my sandals or need to get tucked in and I'm not having the issue with my shoes tightening the longer I walk. My shoes are now properly fitting to my arches as well and they're very comfortable. ... show more
