I really love that this is cordless and charges by USB-C. [ I am gradually converting ALL my devices to USB-C to minimize the cables I keep AND since it is much more robust than other USB standards. ] Not having to struggle with a cable means it is quite a bit "easier" to trim my beard (or get a haircut). I love that it came with both 3 & 4.5mm guards so I can maintain a very short beard. My corded Wahl clipper did not come with a 4.5mm guard and I needed to buy that as an additional option. [ Wahl guards fit this trimmer, by the way, so my assortment (including a "rare" 2' guard -- useful for cutting my OWN hair in a "pinch") can be used with this clipper. This trimmer is also significantly quieter than my Wahl (even though I maintain and have adjusted that device well). I am also appreciative that the blade lever of this device has "detents" to keep it from slipping out of the desired position. The "danger" here is that I will get bad haircuts from my partner. "How's that," you say? Well, she is going to laugh uncontrollably every time she handles it due to the extremely gauche "gold" casing on one side of the trimmer. If she slips while laughing . . . uh oh! This thing looked pretty "bad" in the product photos, but I thought with a "matte" finish it might be tolerable; unfortunately it is even worse in person. Think "gold toilet" or other gold-plated bathroom fixture tacky! I "get" that other cultures (perhaps Asian ones, for example) might not mind the gold "trim," but many Westerners may find it objectionable. My partner, God love her, remarked: "at least I don't have to look at more than 20 minutes every month or so." Unfortunately, with my own weekly beard trimming duties I will not be so lucky. The "gold" cover plate is removable with 3 screws, so I expect to paint this thing with a nice black or gray spray paint this weekend or next! I *DO* really appreciate that the device casing is wholly made out of metal including the robust hanging loop which would be particularly useful and durable in a professional stetting (if you could risk alienating clients with that gauche gold gleam!). You should also be aware that while this arrives in a very good, efficient package, there is no storage bag or case provided. My Wahl clipper came with a nice, thick zippered bag and cost significantly less (about 1/3 less) than this tool, although it does not have the significant benefit of being cordless.

3.75 rounded up to 4 I like that this trimmer set has versatile attachments including 8 combs for the clipper and 3 for the trimmer. Supposedly this kit is suited for all styles. It's supposed to be high-speed rotation with 6500RPM to ensure a clean and efficient cut every time. When my best friend used it he said that it was a great set but he didn't like the smallest trimmer. The smaller one he says doesn't have the best cut so it wasn't as precise as it could be. If this was a set in 4 I think it would be perfect if the set excluded the smaller one based on how he used it.
