  • Worth the Splurge – Great Quality & Performance!
Style: Double Shot - 2.44" Barrel
I upgraded from a cheaper blow dryer brush to the Drybar Double Shot, and I can confidently say it was worth every penny! The quality is noticeably better, and it feels much more durable. It dries and styles my hair quickly while giving it a smooth, salon-quality finish with plenty of volume. The lightweight design makes it easy to use, even for longer styling sessions. One tip I learned from my previous blow dryer brush—clean out the hair and lint regularly to keep it working efficiently and prolong its lifespan. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality blow dryer brush! ... show more

  • Dries hair quickly
Style: Double Shot - 2.44" Barrel
This thing is huge. It works very well, drying my hair quickly. I go for a straighter style. As big as it is, it’s easy to use. I bought it for the reduced heat and sound level so it doesn’t damage my hair like others. My hair does not get caught or hung up/mid back length.

  • Great product!
Style: Double Shot - 2.44" Barrel
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The reviews were good. This product is much gentler on my hair, it leaves it shiny with very little frizz, I use it with a Drybar heat protectant and the result is very nice.

  • very disappointed :(
Style: Single Shot - 2.25" Barrel
I’ve had this device in my shopping cart for months! I was really excited to finally order it. I mainly chose Drybar because I read it has more temperature control and won’t get above 250 degrees. I’ve had the similar Revlon product for a few years and it actually burnt off a chunk of my (then bleached) hair back in 2020, so temperature/damage control was important to me when picking a new blow dry brush. That said, this thing got so hot!! Much hotter than I would like, it felt like the same temperature as the revlon after it was running for a few minutes. My biggest issue is that my hair kept getting caught between the top of the gray brush part and the yellow cap. Even once I was aware of it and being more careful + taking smaller sections, it was hard to avoid and it ripped a lot of my hair out, breaking the ends and also ripping some hair from my scalp. Finally, my hair did not even come out very good. I’m familiar with this type of device and how to use it. But my ends came out all frizzy when they should be nice and smoothed down. Overall my hair came out shiny, but not smooth with tons of flyaways. All that said, I did appreciate how lightweight the dryer is, the long cord, and the way it swivels easily. But I will be returning this. I’m wondering if a hair dryer purchased direct from Drybar would be better than from Amazon. I might consider trying that. I tried to take pictures of the strands of hair caught in the brush and how my hair turned out. I would typically expect it to look much smoother than it did turn out. After going back and brushing my hair with a regular brush, the last pic looks okay, but you can zoom in to see all the flyaway hairs curving out. I did use leave-in conditioner and a smoothing blow dry mist/heat protectant from Kristin Ess which usually works great. ... show more

  • A good alternative to the bougie brands
Style: Triple Shot - 3 Interchangeable Barrels
For context, I bought this set to provide a dry brush option while traveling, specifically on a cruise ship. The reason I chose Dry at was because it met the electrical standards, and unlike my Dyson Airwrap, it didn’t have a build in surge bank. I have shoulder length, thick, color treated hair. So, comparing it to my Dyson, it does many of the same things. It does dry my hair with less frizz and offers a smooth finish. There are 3 heat levels, although the speed of air flow doesn’t increase with the change of temperature. The controls are at the base of the unit, which make it a bit difficult to do a “cool blast” to set a curl when using the curling brush. It did dry my hair and give me similar results to my Dyson, however, it did take longer to get my hair completely dry without over treating it, almost 21 minutes compared to my Dyson at 12. ... show more

  • Great dryer so far!
Style: Double Shot - 2.44" Barrel
I don’t have any complaints. I tried the Lange dryer and it was trash; left my hair frizzy and didn’t dry very well. Also on the second use; was literally doing my hair with it and it sounded like something dislodged. I also got the bondi boost dryer. Loved it until it started sparking. Could have been a fluke. But I’m really happy with this dryer!! It left my hair silky smoothe and I was tossing my hair about as if I just got out of the salon. Best feeling! For context I have bra length hair. Black and moderately thick hair. It didn’t snag on the machine, my hair just glides off nice. Somehow I like that the bristles are longer. Let’s hope they last! ... show more

  • Great
Style: Single Shot - 2.25" Barrel
The item was and is great. Am a huge dry bar fan. We had an issue with the original one and they were great about replacing it . Not the best travel product the bristle get bent and it’s bulky. But definitely leaves hair shiny and smooth and keeps the style. Quick tool to dry and style. Not the best if your hair is shorter than shoulder length. And careful cuz the bristles get hot. ... show more

  • Overrated
Style: Half Shot - 1.5" Barrel
I have had this for about 18 months and am finally ready to admit it’s overhyped. I used the Revlon hot brush for years but when it finally broke and I had to replace it I thought Drybar would be an upgrade. Definitely not! This has caused so much hair breakage (and I never skip heat protectant!), is cheaply made (the tines are very pliable and twist within the product, reminiscent of a cheap hairbrush), and has caused severe air quality issues in my home which I now know thanks to an air monitor. It dries hair pretty quickly but other than that I do not recommend it. ... show more
