These gloves are a great way to help relieve painful osteoarthritis in my hands! The compression is snug without being too tight. (I'm a woman with slightly larger than average hands and long fingers and I wear men's-sized ski gloves.) Although I do think it's possible that if you have smaller-diameter fingers you might find the fit looser and thus, a little less effective. On the other hand, (bad pun intended) if you have larger-diameter fingers (say, larger than a breakfast sausage) you may find them a little too tight. Definitely if you have kielbasa-sized fingers. But I digress...For me, they're comfortable enough to wear overnight if I've had a taxing day using my hands around the house or garden. I can sleep more comfortably when my hands aren't aching, and these gloves do the trick. The fabric is also thin enough to allow wear under my kitchen or garden gloves, a definite plus while doing chores. And the grippy surface means I can drive in them and complete household tasks without things slipping out of my hands. An added plus is that they help grip jar lids when twisting them open! I also like that these gloves cover all of the joints on my fingers, leaving just the fingertips exposed. Not all compression gloves cover all finger joints. They wash easily (I toss them in a zippered net laundry bag so I can easily find them) and I do not put them in the dryer in order to preserve the stretch. They line dry VERY quickly. I also like that there are two pair of gloves, so I always have a clean pair to use. NOTE: The seller is great - I contacted them because a seam on the fingertip of one glove began to unravel immediately. I did not see how I could repair it myself, or I would have. I asked the seller if one glove could be replaced, but instead, the seller offered to reduce the price significantly. Since this would still leave me with one unusable glove, I chose to return the set and reorder another. The second set was perfect, and I've been using them daily for more than a week, having washed them twice. I will update this review, if necessary, but for now, I'm one happy person with less joint discomfort because of these VERY cool gloves! I do wish they came in different colors, but hey - we can't have everything, can we? BOTTOM LINE: Try them!! Amazon returns are easy and quick. I hope they work out well for you!!

Dealing with RA and Raynaud's causes my fingertips to be painfully cold sometimes (a lot of the time). Also, I have developed painful nodes in the joint closest to the fingertip. While I wouldn't actually call these compression gloves, they do provide a small bit of tightness without losing flexibility. That said, I've found myself in them constantly. The length of the fingers covers that last joint which is the most important to me. They also help keep my hands warmer and therefore less painful. They work perfectly as an everyday, all-day glove without making my hands sweaty. The fabric breathes and I'm breathing a bit easier too.

I bought these because my office is freezing and I'm able to type in them quite easily. They are comfortable and cut pretty well. I was worried that "breathable" would mean "doesn't keep your hands warm", but this is not the case. If you want compression without warmth, look elsewhere. If you want warm without restricting movement, these might be for you. My only complaints are that they are a little bit fragile. After pulling them on and off a dozen times a day for a week, the seem on one started splitting. It was easy enough to sew back up, but still, that seems like a short lifespan for $19 gloves. Also, this isn't really a criticism, just something to note, but the rubber dots are very grippy. This is great for holding things, especially stair rails, but they make it very difficult to drive because you can't let the wheel slip along your palm without taking your hand off completely

Love these. Perfect fit and nice color (I got the purple ones). The best thing is how comfortable they are. The pain in my joints is gone. I wear mine for work and even at night. The little rubber dots help with grabbing and look good too. I am ordering another pair.

I love these gloves. They are snug, comfy and have the convenient rubber grips. They do provide compression relief. I also thought the price was fair for two pairs. Unfortunately, BOTH pairs tore at the seams on the outside of the wrist, near the bottom. I was gentle when pulling them on but they both busted in the same place. I wish the seams were stronger.

My friend loves to cook but arthritis in her hands and wrists makes that problematic. I bought her these compression gloves to try and she was delighted. She said they offer support to her wrists and make her hands feel better. Plus, since they are easily washable, she doesn't need to be 100% careful keeping them clean. It's a win-win all around.

These gloves are soft like jersey knit and I like the non-slip bumps. They fit well but don’t have the amount of compression I’m looking for, even though I bought the smallest size. I have some concerns about long-term durability, so they’ll be computer gloves and not much else.
