I purchased a different one before I got this one because I thought this one looked like it wouldn't hold up outside but it's great! So glad I decided to try it. It's sound emitter "ringer" that you plug in inside is smaller than I thought it would be but I love that too, it's so cute! It's barely noticeable and looks nice. It has a ton of chimes so that's fun if you're into that. I have had it for +/- a week or so now and maybe twice a bird has set it off but overall I'm so happy with the "no false alarms" and functionality of this thing. We use it in our driveway in the country. It worked right out of the box too and was easy to set up. You can add other "eyes" but it would be the same ring/sound so I thought that would just be confusing. It would be perfect for a porch or similar. I do have other areas I would like to have this so I plan on purchasing more so they will have different tones. I'm sorry I don't know the range. I have the "eye" on the driveway at the street of a normal size front yard and the "ringer" is in plugged in the entryway. Oh and you can plug in the "eye" and if that's an option for you. It comes with the batteries and the USB cable. (you will need a cube). It also has little sticky strips you can use to narrow the "eye" if you need that. Hope this helps. It's worth it. The first one I got cost more and just plain didn't work and was very difficult to set up. This is worth it.

I have a lot of delivery drivers that come by but I'm usually in the back part of the house so I never see them. I bought this motion sensor for my driveway to alert me when someone pulls in, and it does exactly that. The range is great - it worked well over 100 feet through multiple walls. The detection range itself was good, it maxed out around 25 feet. I planned to get a 2nd one to install inside my mailbox so I can be notified when the mail is being delivered, but unfortunately the signal did not make it out. With that being said, the hub supports 4 sensors which is great, meaning you wouldn't need to have a second hub plugged in somewhere. The hub itself has way too many sound options (over 30), but not enough volume levels. The lowest level was still quite loud. There were a few holiday jingles as well - which are great if you want to place this by the front door for guests to hear. Overall the device works as intended. It's only IP44 rated, so your mileage may vary depending where you place it, but for the price, I can't really complain.

Does the job notifying when someone pulls into the driveway. Only issue is that to get the tone you want you have to go through all 60 of them and there is a power outage or you pull it out to change location you lose the tone you have saved and have to go through all 60 again.

Great when it works, doesn’t always work. This is the second one of this brand I’ve purchased when the first one stopped working. Cheap enough to get , but does not always alert when vehicles cross. Then sometimes it will ring for bunnies or birds . For the price it’s ok. But I wish I could depend on it.

I installed it to automatically light up a pantry closet. All I do is slide the door and boom, it automatically lights up what was once a dark area.

I haven't had it for very long but, the time I have used it i am pleased with it. I like that it has a volume control so I can turn it down or up. There are so many different songs on it, I was surprised. Tight now I have it on the chime mode. It is not blaring in my ears. It sounds like a soft doorbell. That is the way my little dog let's me know he wants in the house. I have it installed on my front porch so I can hear if someone is out there. I am very happy with it and I'm glad I ordered it.
