This is a fantastic wheelchair ramp. It fit both my front and backdoor with ease. Even more importantly it accommodated an average sized home use Drive Wheelchair. We do also have a larger hospital style wheelchair that is too wide for this ramp, but solely rely on the average size wheelchair anyway. I love that the ramp is a light enough weight to easily travel with you for curbs and so on. The ramp itself has a nice handle that makes it easy to transport from the front door to the back door, but the well made, high quality zippered carrying case is especially useful when on the go or for safe storage. The ramp has really saved the day time and time again. My husband's unfortunate accident has him wheelchair bound for the next 12 weeks. We have a 3" step into the house from front and a 4" in the back. We lived without the ramp for the first few days following his accident and I was unable to lift my husband and the chair over these steps. It took our son to manage this. It really prevented my husband's outdoor experiences to planned Dr. appointments when our son would be available to assist us. The ramp has opened my husbands ability to be a part of life's more enjoyable moments. The ramp has grids that help keep it slip resistant which is a much needed safety measure for the person in the wheelchair, but exceptionally important for the person helping the chair up or down the ramp. It provides an excellent grip beneath your feet, especially with proper footwear. We are grateful to have the ramp. I highly recommend this ramp if the measurements meet your needs. Super solid ramp, it's perfect for the 4" step up from the sidewalk to my entry way landing. It works well with both my wheelchair and a platform walker. My neighbor lent hers to me (same model) and it worked so well at the front entrance that I ordered one for a patio entrance with out-swing French doors. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough clearance over the side rails for the door to close so it was returned. But if your doors swing into your house or you have sliding patio doors, this would not be an issue. I highly recommend. ... show more

I use little ramp to drive a med scooter up and down from a little trailer, but its use is actually much wider...for garden tractors or slight incline/decline walkways to get rid of a step. These ramps are well built and sturdy....one can easily go to the max weight recommended without an issue. The case is fair...my original was ripped and they sent me a replacement without an issue, but it's design was not nearly as good. The case is not essential, however. The vendor is responsive to comments...and I called and made some since the corners of the ramp and some of the edges were pretty sharp (not smoothed. I took a file and took of the sharp edge on most surfaces, which I recommend doing. I told them they really should do this. In the end...good design and will last. Hinges sound. Gap in the middle (where it folds) is small; the weight is nicely light. ... show more

This is a quality ramp and would get a high rating except for the ridiculous placement of the carrying handle. When the ramp is opened up, the handle becomes positioned on the bottom side, in the center, and forcibly held in a vertical position with respect to the ramp bottom. This means that the ramp has to be used on a fairly high step or it will "teeter-toter" on the handle. I had no choice but to drill out the handle so that I could use the ramp. ... show more

Great product. Very easy to use, carry, and its been durable. We didn't follow the rules, and it still works great. Meaning, we use it on inclines that are 4 inches or so and it still stays sturdy and doesn't cause an issue - this is not recommended, but just saying it has been fine for us. The one star I leave here is more for the Drive company than the ramp. There is NO RETURN on this item. Even if you wanted to buy a longer ramp. So I will give or throw this ramp away. Just needed it to get mobility scooter into the car, figured I needed 6 feet. So I brought two 6 feet planks of wood cut them to 3 feet each and put on door hinges. That way I can fold them and put them in the car, it also costs a lot less than $115 I paid for the 3 foot ramp. Hoping this idea will stop people from buying from this company (Drive). P.s. Yes I am bitter that I couldn't return a brand new item and had to waste $115. ... show more
