Not sure if this is my 4th or 5th DRIVE wheelchair, but I keep repurchasing the same model because it's a good product. It's also one of the most narrow models available which makes it easy traversing tight spots in my home. First thing I do is remove the arm rests and leg rests...this makes it stealth and nimble to maneuver. The large storage pocket on the back of the seat is SUPER convenient.     • Issues with the seat measurement and locks
The chair appears sturdy and of high quality and I feel it would last a long time. The chair was purchased for my 79 year old mother and while the seat measurement in the ad say 18 inches it is actually 17.5 so it appears the stated measurements are rounded up which caused this chair not to work. Also, the brake lever was not lockable by my mom, she just doesn’t have the arm strength required which I feel any elderly person should be able to lock the wheels for their safety and not have to rely on someone to do it for them. ... show more

Great product. Light weight, easy to transport, easy to use. Nice foot rests are easily removed and put back on. The user is 290 lb and the chair is comfy and has held up through constant use.

My elderly father in law requested this chair because that's what everyone is using in assisted living. The cost was reasonable. And it is a well made chair. One problem was the shipping box had come open and the legs were missing when it arrived. The vendor replaced them, but it took FOREVER for the replacements to arrive. So, they credited us the cost to purchase replacements. They were responsive and did the right thing. This chair folds up the middle. Folded, it fits in the rear of our station wagon with no problems. The legs can be swung outwards to the sides or removed. I think a lot of Elderly remove the legs so they can move around using their feet. Its a nice feature and easy to remove or replace the legs.     • Unlike the last wheelchair, this one pushes straight ahead.
I use this wheelchair for my husband who had a stroke and is paralyzed on one side. It is sturdy but I expect it to last only three years as the vinyl starts to separate at the screws.

Have only had the wheelchair for a few days but so far it is fine. Came with all the parts and was easy to assemble. checked all the bolts and screws for tightness and everything was okay. Will review after longer use. Seems sturdy and comfortable.
