The battery that came with our scooter -scout spitfire 4 wheel - from 2.5-3 years ago was losing charge too quickly for us to go anywhere for even half the day. We met someone at Busch Gardens who had a different scooter brand but stated that he carried an extra battery so he could change it out as needed. I'm so excited about this new battery. The only thing I wasn't expecting is that this battery does not appear to be made by Drive Medical but it seems to work well and fit our machine well. I would happily buy another from this manufacturer in the future. Update 2-21-19 I have only had this battery less than 3 weeks and I took the scooter out to walk the dog with this battery in it. The battery was full when I left the house. The battery just suddenly stopped working and left me stranded. I had to crawl home and a middle school age child getting home from school asked me if I needed help and helped me push the scooter home. This new battery is now not charging even though I plugged it into the charger. The scooter still works with the old battery that came with the scooter. ... show more
