Description

Inflate car tires, bike tires, or sports balls quickly with the 18V LXT® Cordless Inflator. The Makita-built motor delivers up to 160 PSI. An auto-stop function automatically stops inflation when the preset air pressure is obtained. This helps prevent overfill. There are three speed settings: high, medium, and low. The inflator also features an air-release button, high visibility pressure gauge display with backlight, and an L.E.D. light to illuminate the work area. A 25-1/2” hose length provides better reach. The compact design allows for easy portability and convenient storage. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita® 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls™. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita® 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.

  • Nice compliment to my Makita collection
Love this little guy. Bought it for my F350's air bags and using a cab over camper and also for my RZR to air back up after airing down to rock crawl. Not super noisy. Could be alittle faster for tires but I'm happy with it's capabilities. It's not huge and pretty compact. Buy a quick connect fitting adapter to pair with it. ... show more

  • Easy, reliable product
Don’t waste money on cheap tire inflators. This Makita inflator works great and provides confidence that is essential when on the road. I used this to inflate six RV tires from ~50psi to 80psi. Used up one 18V, 5Amp rechargeable battery. Excellent product…highly recommended.

EXCELLENT TOOL BUY THE BIGGER ONE FIRST

  • exceeded expectations, sans one feature
Almost bought the older model by mistake-- the old/new model numbers are so similar. Newer has more capacity/flowrate and Im glad I have it. The 18V batt has a long life. The only criticism I'd give the designers, is that they require the User to hold the trigger 'on' for all inflations. Not necessarily a big deal except for big inflations--like a car tire w/ a small sidewall leak (drops 10psi, every 3 or so days). Putting 10psi into a car tire takes a few minutes, even w/ this higher capacity newer model. Its frustrating to wait that long. Especially since the unit has an auto shutoff feature when the configured pressure is reached. My work around was a small velcro strap i leave attached to the handle. When I need a big inflate (like a leaky car tire), I cinch up the velcro and the unit runs until it automatically turns itself off once the desired pressure is reached (and I do other things while waiting). Again, other than the missing design feature, this thing has exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • My christmas present to myself
I love this. I hate pumping flat tires with a manual pump that I have to basically do pushups with. I've done it every week for years. I'm young and always have some tire going flat, so it would have been nice if I bought this like while I was in high school. I got myself this for Christmas this year, and now that I got my own tires fixed, my dad just bought this pump off me because his trailer seems to always get a flat tire. Saves me from having to pump his tires up. Worth every penny. I might buy another one someday. ... show more

  • Very convenient
I got this for my son as a gift. His one tire was constantly losing air. Well I use it all the time and I am going to get one for me! I don’t have to haul my compressor out to the shed or my trailer. Works great top off my trailer tires at 50 psi with no trouble. Getting snow blower ready for a storm and easily filled tires in shed. Uses very little battery. Only negative is it doesn’t stop at desired psi. For example set at 32 psi it will fill pass 32 and won’t stop but once you let go of the trigger it will stop filling and won’t let you add more air. ... show more
