The provided adaptor doesn't fit a standard hose bib properly. There is Teflon tape provided with this which I assume is a cheap fix for the bad fit. The problem with this is that garden hoses are designed to seal with a gasket on the face of the bib and not the threads like a tapered pipe thread. The other issue is that drip irrigation systems are designed to run at a lower pressure and there isn't a regulator included with the kit. If you were to run this without a regulator it would blow the connectors apart. You can sort of work around this by only partially opening the valve to restrict the flow, but this is far from ideal. I would advise against buying this kit and spend a few extra bucks to avoid the frustration. ... show more

Works great and all my indoor plants survived a 3 week vacation in a hot summer period, with no damage. Might be even better with some sort of sprayer as the drops go in in a straight line, which did not seem as ideal for orchids in bark as it went through in a straight line. Seems to have worked for 3 weeks though! In previous vacations all the orchids lost a couple of leaves each. This time, none ... show more

Nothing about this product is good. The threads on the timer don't fit a common house faucet and the company know it so they include Teflon tape. The individual spouts don't stay attached to the hose when any amount of water pressure is pushed through. The ID off the hose is too small and won't allow water to flow to the end of the hose. ... show more
