Great product. No issues with it, easy to use and setup. It is doing exactly what i needed it to, keep the allergens out of my office. It is good to breath. When I first started it up is showed air quality as red and 50% clean air. Within an hour it was green with 92% air quality. I've had it running for about 2-3 months now and still working well. Filter shows it is down to 85%. Likely going to get 6 months out of the filter at this rate.

This has been running pretty much none stop for 6 months. It's right next to a litter box that we could smell before but since it's been running we can't smell it at all. The app make it easy to use, I don't think I've used the keypad on the machine at all. Just keep in mind it your using it in a big room you need to put it on turbo to pull the air into it.

It ships with a software glitch so you can't reset the machine nor acknowledge the filter change, nor update the software. Must return to manufacturer. I would rather have a machine that just works.

The media could not be loaded. The Dreo Smart True HEPA Air Purifier was delivered in the retail box wrapped with clear plastic shipping wrap so it looked a bit shoddy but after removing all the plastic the product box looked just fine. When I opened the box I found that the air purifier was well protected with form fitting Styrofoam. The included quick start guide is a large 2-sided card that is very easy to read and follow – so much better than the tiny little instruction booklets with micro-sized fonts that so many products from Asia come with. After removing the air purifier from the box, there is a very obvious long yellow tag with red lettering warning the user to remove the filter from the unit and to remove the plastic that the filter has sealed over it. This plastic must be removed else it could cause a fire since no air would be able to flow through the filter. I appreciate that Dreo made it very obvious that the filter has to be pulled out and the plastic wrap removed before use, taking safety of the user seriously. Once the unsealed filter has been reinserted into the back of the air purifier, simply find where you want to put the unit, plug it in, and turn it on. There are 4 fan speeds with the lowest setting so quiet I had to triple check to make sure it was even running and the highest speed (turbo) being a bit loud but tolerable if you want to perform a faster cleaning of the air for a short while before changing the fan speed to something lower for normal background air cleaning. The product design is quite good, with ”dirty” air entering on 3 sides and clean air exiting out the top after passing through a large 3-stage HEPA filter. The control panel looks like a dial but it is actually a very nice touch screen with a one-touch On/Off button, a two-touch button to set a desired turn-off time or to connect the unit to WiFi (not required but if you choose to download an app you can control from your smart phone), an Auto Mode button (automatic adjustment of fan speed based on detection of particulate volume), the multi-touch Fan Speed button which is repeatedly touched to change speed up and down, a one-touch Sleep Mode button, and a 3-touch Display Info button to check Clean Air Percentage, Filter Life Remaining, and the Current Particle Size Reading (each touch cycles through each of these). There is a lighted color bar on the front base of the unit that shows the air quality according to the following color scale: Blue = Excellent, Green = Good, Orange = Moderate, Red = Poor. This product even has several higher-end features including a Child-Lock (available if using the app); a Memory of your most recent setting so that even after unplugging the unit when you plug it back in your previous settings remain intact; Low Light Detection which automatically turns off the normally lighted LED displays - really nice feature to not only reduce electricity consumption but also to avoid bright lights on the unit at night while trying to sleep (if unit is in the bedroom) of while watching a show or movie in low light. Compared to a couple different air purifiers that I owned and used in the past, this product from Dreo really stands out as a high quality device and one that I would happily recommend to friends & family.

This item WORKS! We have been living in a construction site as we remodel our home with two dogs. The dust and pet dander is crazy because of all the work we have going on in the home. As soon as I plugged it in, it lit up orange because of how terrible our air quality was. Within 15 minutes, it changed to green, then blue. It was rapidly circulating air in a HUGE room with vaulted ceilings. I moved it room to room to get the best results day one because it is winter here and with the house being closed up, we needed to purify everywhere. It is working great and super quiet. I already ordered a new filter because I know with all we have going on here, we will need it fast. I have ordered several fans from Dreo brand too and all of them are excellent. Very happy with how this unit works and shows me it is working. House is smelling much fresher now and both my husband’s and my allergies have gone way down. The air filter that fits inside is huge and as of this writing, replacement filters are priced at $50 here on Amazon, so that is not too steep a price for fresh air. I also like that the unit has a very modern look to it. Another solid 5 star product from Dreo.

An air purifier is probably a difficult thing to review. How do you know it's working? How do you know it's helping? Well I'm going to get to one interesting measurement: my sinuses. I tend to suffer from a slightly to stuffed nose most evenings. And it often interferes with my use of my CPAP machine (I prefer the nasal pillow to a mask). There are many nights where I give up and sleep without it. But as I was falling asleep last night I was thinking that it had been several days since I've had to use a sinus spray or decongestant or since I just gave up and went to sleep without the mask. It was at that point that I realized that those several days coincided exactly with when I had finally unboxed and begun using this air purifier. The Dreo, in both the console indicators on the front of the device and in the iOS app seemed to indicate that we had very clean air in our basement to begin with. I had long wondered about the quality of the air in the basement, so this was reassuring. But it still seems to be removing something from the air in our basement family room that's making a difference to my sinuses and my sleep. So that's a win. As for the rest, this is one nice looking well operating machine. It seems to move a lot of air without making a lot of sound. It looks good, with informative displays to keep you posted about your air quality. And it's got really nice touches: I was amazed when I turned it down the lights to watch a movie and the Dreo sensed the darkness, and turned off the same displays. That would be an exceptionally nice automatic feature if you were using this in a bedroom, but it's also nice in a living space. Time will tell how it really performs, as well as how fast it goes through filters. But so far this seems like a reassuring and effective addition to our home.
