    • Seems a perfect replacement for the Janome presser low shank.
The wife has a couple of Janome sewing machines. She mainly uses one but has a project where she could use both at once. But needed a second presser low shank and one particular foot. When they came this shank and the original, with the original Janome foot, worked fine on either machine. But the non-Janome foot would not work on either machine with either shank. So, this seems a perfect replacement for the Janome presser low shank. But since she didn't use it extensively yet (the Janome foot is being a pain to find) we can't really call it fine and fit for purpose. ... show more

My Janome presser foot holder suddenly broke in the middle of a project. I ordered this item after reading reviews. I received it quickly and it fit perfectly. I'm back in business and did not have to go to the local sewing center for them to order this part for me.

    • Lets old sewing machines use the new snap-on presser feet
If you have an old sewing machine, you don't have to just use the old-style presser feet. This screws on easily, and you can use all those new snap-in presser feet. I have an old Kenmore, dating back to the 1980s, and this works perfectly.
