This is a good product for its price and purpose. The only thing I am concern about is its durability. I scratched it accidentally with a plastic squeegee and had to redo the entire thing. I wouldn't install it on elements which are always in use, like door handles or door panels. Other than that it is fine and can put some freshness into your old interior, but only as a temporary solution, IMO. Some people say that adhesion is not good enough (not only for this particular product, but for other brushed films from VViViD as well), but I didn't notice anything like this. It is not perfect, but, look, this is a cheap film. Use the heat gun, good squeegee, wrap it inside and it will be fine. The installation is a little bit more complicated than for a plain high quality vinyl, but I can't say it is really hard. Just needs some practice, so buy more ;-). You have to look at the structure, keep it straight, which was a problem in my case due to the shape of the panel. I didn't use the soap water and probably this was a mistake, but even in dry mode I was able to install it without any issues (except that scratch, but that was mostly my fault). ... show more

    • Grain runs opposite of photos.

The grain runs opposite of the photos shown which means it’s useless and will be returned. I think this is very large oversight and should be corrected by either changing the way they cut the product, or using different photos. Waste of time and it doesn’t look that great either.

    • Looks good but Scratches too easily

Originally installed this on my interior trim for that dark brushed metal look. I took my time and was careful to not use anything that would harm the finish, was happy until I looked at it after the install in the sun and saw scratches. Tried to heat it out with my heat gun but didn't change anything. Instead of replacing with the same color/type, decided to go with a different color look. I would be bummed if I had wrapped my full car with this color and had all the scratches. ... show more

Not the best wrap I have worked with, but not the worst either. People you have to prep your surface. Alcohol prep spray or just a quick wipe down of the piece u wanna cover. Apply and then HEAT it to activate the super sticky adhesive. I had zero problems. And I wrapped 2 door trims. Dash trim. Console piece. And the over head light in another car. And still had a 12x18" left over. Take your time. Sharp razor knife! Measure 2x cut once. Then heat with hair dryer or heat gun. Then wipe down with micro fiber to make it's all stuck in place. Very pleased with quality and price! Used for my car interior. As a side note: Make sure to look at the direction a pattern runs on the roll! Fortunately for me, even though the linear pattern ran opposite on the roll than the direction I needed for application in my car, the width allowed me to turn it... However, if the area in my car had of been a few inches longer, then the roll width would’ve been too short & that would’ve left me with two options; 1). run pattern in opposite direction of the other pattern already existing in the car or 2). return product. I really like my new 2020 GMC Sierra Denali truck, but I hated the wood grain on the doors and console while there was a factory brushed steel looking surrounding the stereo and climate controls. Looks great but the texture is hard to work with. I used it on the interior of my car and some parts look awesome, but some not so much. cons: When you wrap something that is not flat the "grain" distorts and doesn't look right anymore. If you stretch it the texture flattens out and causes a shiny silver spot or a stripe going perpendicular to the grain. pros: Nice texture even coloring throughout looks great on flat surfaces I would use again but be cautious of the surface you are using it on. ... show more

Good stuff, looks pretty genuine once applied. Keep in mind it is textured, there is no smooth coat over this type. Feels like one of those old holographic cards that change based on the angle. Speaking of angles, you will need to be strategic about how you apply it. The pattern catches light more flatteringly at certain angles and rotations, depending on the position of the light source. But overall it is a good looking vinyl, great looking if you pay attention to how it behaves for your project and apply it accordingly. ... show more
