I purchased this because I love a rocking feature. I am older and feeling the effects of lifelong physical labor with my job. This recliner is ok. Not a slam dunk. I am 5'6 230 lbs. If I sit back on the chair, my feet barely touch the ground. I have to sit closer to the front to rock it. Not exactly comfortable. The reclining feature is comfortable while laying back for a nap. Closing the footrest is an absolute nightmare. I have bad joints and can't push it down. I keep a hammer next to the chair to get it to stay down. ( which doesn't always work) Overall, if you are younger than this chair will be fine. It looks decent. I would not recommend this for older people. Especially those with arthritis or bone and joint issues. Good luck! UPDATE:::: This is an excellent seller. They noticed my review and went above and beyond to make sure I am happy. I love that this chair was easy to put together. It’s huge and great for snuggling. The color is so unique and vibrant. Unfortunately the seams are weak and after only a month, the weak seams along the armrest are pulling apart. The reclining function is very relaxing but it’s very hard to get the footrest to stay down. ... show more
