First, I'll say that this is a very pretty sofa. The velvet is high quality, short napped, but soft. Very good stuffing on the back, and the cushions are firm and thick. I anticipate that the stuffing will wear well. It's not uncomfortable for a firm sofa, and I don't feel any springs or cardboard. Feels like real furniture. The color descriptions aren't quite accurate, if you are picky about colors. They are all very pretty, high end colors, vibrant, but may not be what you expect based on the name. I've also discovered that it is difficult to photograph velvet, as it appears much lighter in the photos, I suppose because of the nap. And because this velvet has a bit of light reflectiveness, as a high quality. The "Green" is much deeper than appears in the photos, and is an emerald or forest green. The "Navy Blue" I would call a Sapphire, or maybe Prussian Blue (leaning toward teal, a touch of green rather than purple). I haven't seen the Peacock color in person. The assembly is not difficult, but you need two sets of hands. And everything fits tight, so get each step right along the way. The sofa is not heavy, so it doesn't feel totally solid - kids jumping on the sofa not a good idea. Overall though, I am very pleased, and it's a beautiful piece for a very reasonable price. ... show more

I ordered this couch in Peacock Blue and they shipped it to me in Teal. It also had a discoloration on one of the cushions that I was able to hide with the side pillow. After connecting with their Customer Service Team, they offered to correct their mistake by asking if I wanted to keep the couch at no charge. I agreed and am getting used to it. I have had this for about a month now, and am so glad I went with this couch - even if it was a bit pricier than other pretty velvet couches that offered different colors. I bought the smaller version due to the small size in my room and it is beautiful! The blue is a deep navy, the "velvet" is short and not too shiny, and it is quite firm but comfortable. It has become the landing spot for everyone in my house. I am still looking for some decorative pillows to add but it does come with some cute cylindrical pillows that are quite soft, too. It isn't as tall as a regular sofa/loveseat, but I like the smaller size as it is perfect for my office area. It came all in one box, and was a little bulky/heavy to get it inside (due to stairs) but with another set of hands, we managed. I put it together by myself and it was very easy. There was no scent or chemical smell to the couch which I was concerned about due to how sensitive I can be to that. So no need to air it out. Instructions were easy and simple (like Ikea). I highly recommend it! I wish we had more space to get the bigger version. ... show more

I purchased this couch just a few months ago, but I've waited to write a review. I wanted to see how the couch holds up the everyday use and see what the quality of the couch is like. GOOD: The couch is easy to assemble and despite the box arriving damaged, the couch was packaged well enough to avoid damage. It was easy to put together. The fabric is a nice quality and is easy to keep clean. The overall style of the couch is quite beautiful and it fits into my space perfectly. This will be easy to take apart and transport/store. It is lightweight. I was able to put this together by myself in about 20 minutes. BAD: After just a few months, the cushions are starting to show indentation and wear. I am 170 lb male and I am not rough with the couch at all. The cushions are not very comfortable. You can feel the springs, you can feel the center bar that stabilizes the frame, etc. With heavy use, kids, pets, etc. these certainly wouldn't hold up. One of the buttons has already come off of it. The stitching around the arms of the couch are not done very well and show stress, which is odd because they're hardly used. When you shift your weight of the couch, it can creek, you can feel the spring move, or you can hear the foam underneath of the fabric make a noise. Overall, it looks great, but feels quite cheap once it's put together. For the price, I had hoped that this would hold up for at least a year but it's showing wear and tear after just a few months of being used a few hours each day. It isn't very roomy/designed for laying on. So if you like to veg out, this wouldn't be the couch for you. I'm 5'10" and I can't lay down all the way despite going with the larger sized couch. If this couch were perhaps 10" longer, it would be much more comfortable. The pillows included are decorative and were zipped into bottom section of the couch. They aren't comfortable, so I swapped them out for regular throw pillows. They brighten the couch up and make it feel a lot more luxe than it would be on its own. The bar in the middle is uncomfortable but necessary. It does stabilize the couch but it's uncomfortable to lay on or across, despite the cushions covering it. If you have three people sit on this, the person in the middle would be terribly uncomfortable. If you're looking for a couch that will hold up to daily/heavy use, keep looking. It's best for a formal living room or a space that isn't used for a long time or used heavily. It's easy to put together but the overall quality of the frame and the materials is a little on the cheap side. I'd expect a bit more given the price point. Overall it isn't bad, provides a great look and feel to my space, and will work while I save for a better couch. ... show more
