  • Works Well
Color: Pink
These were perfect to add to the transition for my daughter from toddler bed to a “big girl” bed. The extra caution was needed because of the height of her bed. They’re sturdy and easy to assemble. They match perfectly with her bed frame. No complaints.

  • Fits as described
Color: Pink
Super pleased! Fit my daughters twin bed night and snug. She’s always done very well staying towards the top of her bed so I didn’t feel the need to get the extra long rails. These are short and I can see how they may not be right for some kids. I do like also that the rails are a little shorter. Our previous rail was very oddly tall and it was tough to Lean over to give her a kiss goodnight. These I feel are perfect. Tall enough to contain her but not too tall to be no functional. ... show more

  • DANGEROUS- Child stuck Btwn rail and mattress. Straps NOT long enough.
Color: Pink
The straps are not long enough to accommodate even a twin mattress. They barely stretch to the other side of our twin mattress to secure it. Tonight the strap popped back through (because it’s not nearly long enough altho the product details indicate its for a twin or full sized mattress). I heard muffled screams and went to find my 3 year old daughter stuck between the mattress and this bed rail which had pushed out and stopped at the wall. She was trapped between with her neck caught by the bed rail bar. So glad she didn’t somehow get choked by the strap. This is supposed to keep your kid safe, not put them in danger. I want my money back. ... show more

  • Worked like a charm
Color: Blue
Our granddaughter was staying overnight at our home over Christmas so we needed to get her a guard rale so she could sleep in an adult twin beg. It was somewhat difficult to install and make it sturdy but her parents did a good job. She slept through the night, which was a real break for her parents after a high energy day. She woke up with a smile and a hug for her grandparents. This told me it worked like a charm. ... show more

  • Nice product but not high enough
Color: Pink
We purchased this product to replace an existing set of bed rails that are getting worn out from years of use. Packaging was good. Quality of the item was great but it wasn’t tall enough for our daughter’s full sized mattress and wouldn’t work to prevent a fall. It does say in the description that it’s not to be used for mattresses higher than 4” so it would be better for a small toddler bed. ... show more

  • Low clearance but still cute and gets the job done
Color: Pink
So here's my honest review: there are pros and cons to this specific bedroom system, however each pro and con is subjective based on the buyer's situation. I'll describe mine for comparison: I have a two year old daughter, who just got a big girl bed for her birthday. We expect this mattress to last the ten years a mattress is supposed to be good for, so we got a quality mattress suitable for both a 2 year old and an eventual 12 year old. We also took into consideration most her growing up to puberty would happen, sleeping in this bed every night. We got a decent mattress- not a cheap one thinking "it's just for a toddler anyway." I don't like mattress shopping. I'm not buying her another for a long time; long story short, it is a 10" pillowtop. She was up against the (child locked and secured) window, her bed flush with the wall, with on bedrail on only the open side of her bed. She wouldn't go to sleep though; instead she played with the blinds, and looked out the window. We decided we had to move her bed away from the only wall available to flush the bed against, resorting in moving the bed center of the room, and getting a new rail system, to cover both sides of the bed. We debated three options: the foam guards, which have low clearance but are directly in the bed, more comfortable and have significantly lower risk of entrapment. Then there was this system, and another similar system with the only difference being that it was a hideaway system (the rails could fold down flush with the bed, and hide under blankets so no one would know they were there). We opted for this one hoping for a higher clearance than the foam option, and knowing we'd never care enough to fold the hideaway rails up and down (hideaway rails also have less clearance). Now here's my feelings on the actual guard rail system: Pros: Color variation is nice- we love the pink Easy installation- hardest part was guiding the mattress back on the boxspring, between the two rails, by myself and even that wasn't much of a fuss. Overall cute, and if you have a thinner mattress, totally perfect Cons: It's recommended for no bigger than a 5" mattress. Most crib mattresses are 4-5 inches, and wicked flimsy- it's unreal to expect toddlers and preschoolers to be on such a thin flimsy and unsupportive mattess. Because our bed is bigger- the clearance is only about 3 inches. The logo and danger warnings face the outside of the bed instead of against the mattress where they could be hidden- I find it to be unsightly to have a big entrapment risk spiel on the side of my daughter's bed. Overall, we're gonna hang on to it and hope she does fine with minimal clearance- if you have a thinner bed, it'll probably be more suitable for your child. ... show more

Color: Blue
The price was okay but of course you know I'm a bargain shopper so it could have went down so for me but it's easy to install I thought that I would have trouble doing it but and I'm 67 years old and I did it by myself so that tells you right there when you reaching for the baby though it's kind of hard seem like if there is a pad or something you can put over it it would be nice ... show more
