Sturdy, roomy, waterproof, easy in/out access. Very pleased with my 10 person tent. Took two people to set up bc of tent size. We set it up in the backyard for the summer. It’s been up a month and has handled several significant rainstorms with outdoor flooding and up to 50 mpr winds. No problems. The inside of the tent remained dry and upright. The inside is huge! I bet it would fit five adults comfortably or make a cozy camp with a queen bed on one side and small table/chairs on the other side. I’m 5’5” and can easily stand up in the tent with lots of height to spare. The zippers are all covered which further protects against the elements. I typically spray the seams of the tent and rain fly with silicone after the first season for added rain protection. Not sure it’s necessary but I’ll do it anyhow with this tent. Haven’t taken the tent down yet so I can’t speak about that process or about the tent and poles fitting back into the bag. Loving the tent so far. ... show more

We recently picked up this UNP family tent for our upcoming camping trips, and we wanted to see exactly how hard it would be to set up out of the box. We decided to try pitching it completely on our own, using pure intuition to see how user-friendly the design really is. The Setup & Poles Honestly, the engineering on this is fantastic. You don't need a manual to figure it out. The pole setup breaks down into three basic steps: you get two very long poles that criss-cross over the main body to give it its height, two shorter poles to stand up the ends, and one small pole that goes into the rainfly to hold it open over the entryway. Once the poles are through, the exterior clips just snap right onto the frame. Two of us had the main structure secure, upright, and standing tall in just a few minutes with zero frustration. Size, Space, and Headroom This tent is absolutely massive—it feels less like a standard tent and more like a small cabin out in the field. The interior height is the real selling point here. A grown adult can walk straight through the front door without ducking down at all. If you are tired of crawling around on your hands and knees just to change your clothes while camping, this layout is a total game-changer. There is more than enough room to fit multiple air mattresses or cots with plenty of central walking space left over. Materials & Weather Protection The materials feel durable and heavy-duty for the price point. The zippers are smooth and don't constantly snag on the fabric flaps, which is usually the first thing to fail on big tents. The rainfly drops cleanly over the top structure for solid coverage, and that front entryway pole creates a great little awning over the door to keep the elements out when you're stepping inside. Ventilation is also excellent with the mesh windows, so you get great airflow without sacrificing privacy or weather proofing. The Verdict If you need a reliable, giant family tent that won't cause an argument in the backyard while you're trying to build it, this is a winner. As someone who has never been camping or set up a tent, this was fairly easy to set up. The instructions that came with the tent weren’t the clearest, but a random YouTube video helped. Probably if I’ve set up a tent before I would have had an idea of what to do. Took about 2 hours to set up by myself with a small amount of help from a child. I’m confident it will go faster next time, as a lot of the time was me staring at it trying to figure out where to put what. There was one part of fabric that ripped, but that could also be user error on my part when I was trying to get the poles into the pocket. Size wise, I was able to fit 5 twin air mattresses in there comfortably. The zippers on the doors are a little cumbersome and could potentially get stuck on the material covering the zippers. As for rain/water durability, I did not encounter any precipitation so I can’t comment on that. The storage bag that it comes with is great. It’s oversized so when you’re done camping and you realize you’re not going to be able to fold it as it came, you can just stuff it into the bag, poorly folded. ... show more

The tent was great! Held up to some high winds. The set up was a little difficult to read as the font was really tiny and in grey. But we made due and got it set up. The material was breathable still got pretty hot but manageable. Was quite surprised that it was not as heavy as some that I have had in the past. I believe it is water resistant because we had a small spill in the tent and it just beaded up. Overall, pretty happy with it. We like to camp and have a total of 5 tents all various sizes, but we bought this one to replace our other large tent that took a beating last year during our summer camping season so we had to retire it. It was a bit bigger than this one with an enclosure for a lunging area, but overall we are happy with this one as a close replacement. It fit our queen sized air mattress, my sons twin mattress, space for our lounging and personal space as well. Great buy for the price as well! ... show more

We camped all weekend in this tent and it is amazing! Easy to set up with 2 people. Great material. Didn’t rain in the tent at all even with a thunderstorm and downpours all weekend! Very roomy and spacious. Only thing I’d change is the zipper. It’s hard to open and close the “doors” I mean we did it but it could have been made easier. We are brand new to camping and just set this tent up and used it on July 4th. It is huge but was easy to set up, did not blow over in the wind, looks great! We used better stakes than it came with to hold it down. It was magical to lay under the stars with the top cover off.     • Zipper and flap design terrible, flap caught in zipper and ripped on first use.

This can actually be dangerous since you can’t get out of tent easily or quickly if needed because the zipper on the door constantly gets the flap stuck!!! It is a good sized tent and did not show any leaks during a consistent rain, although we put an additional tarp over the top of the tent as we knew there would be rain. The setup was pretty easy, but the directions are extremely small and since they are attached to the bag, it makes it difficult to read and have them accessible when setting the tent up. My reason for the one-star review - the DESIGN OF THE flap over the zipper on door is TERRIBLE!!! There are two different flaps and it is almost impossible to not get the upper flap caught in the zipper when opening the door! It got caught the first we set the tent up for use. (Yes, I did set the tent up prior to going on the camping trip but did not have to open the zipper since it was already open.) To hopefully help prevent the flap from getting caught in the zipper when you try to open the door from the bottom up, you have to pull the two sides together and make sure you go slowly and physically pull the flap out of the way. The flap got caught in the zipper and the zipper couldn’t be opened without tearing the flap and breaking at least one tooth on the zipper. This makes it impossible to get in or out out of the tent quickly if you need to, or to open the zipper with one hand so if you have anything in your hand, you have to set it down so you can get in or out. Not very helpful. We purchased this tent for a camping event and set it up early to confirm the parts were there and we knew how to set it up but missed the return window by a week and am now stuck with a tent that had a zipper and flap that is broken after the first use. ... show more
