  • EASY TO SET UP AND SPACIOUS!
Color: Gray Size: 10 Person Tent
EASY TO SET UP! This was a good tent. Pretty easy set up and sturdy too. It was as spacious as a 12 person tent also. Some of my tent poles ended up broken and I reached out to the seller and they were quick and easy to communicate with. This is a very solid choice of a tent.

  • Alaska tested 👍
Color: Gray Size: 10 Person Tent
The media could not be loaded. We set this tent up at 2 o'clock in the morning after a hard day packing and driving to the homestead site. Set up was not difficult with two tent savvy adults, but I don't think one person could do it, at least not without a struggle. We put a large heavy duty tarp under the tent, ( the tarp will cover the cabin roof in a couple of weeks as this tent is temporary housing while we build the cabin) We are literally living in this tent and have done so for over a week now. No complaints. For the price point, there really aren't any negatives. The only tents I've used that I would choose over this one cost 5 times the price. It has rained and rained and rained and rained some more since we started living in this tent. NO LEAKS! It's not windy here. At most, we get very breezy so I cannot attest to the wind endurance. But the light wind has not been a problem at all. We did not use all of the tie outs because of the tarp in the front, but because we are living in this tent for the next month, we needed a place to shake off the mud before going into the tent. The tent is roomy. The partition makes it nice to separate a space for the kids and the engineering of the door was well thought out. We have 2 adults and two children plus what's left of our belongings in this tent. There's definitely space for a family camping trip. I would buy this again over the other options in the under $500 category. The price was the driving point in this purchase since the other tents we looked at were either $400 and up, or had terrible reviews. We looked at REI, Bass Pro and Cabellas, all of them had decent options but I'm really happy we went with this one and I would do it again. Just ... show more

  • So far so good!
Color: Gray Size: 10 Person Tent
Good price on this, we've only slept in it once but have set it up a couple of times now. The one day it was very windy the next morning and it started to cave in, but I don't know that we had it set up fully correct, thankfully it was just my kiddos sleeping in it in our yard but hoping that doesn't happen during a trip! There is lots of space, the room dividing is a fun addition, and we like that the door has 2 openings for when that divider is up. We easily fit in 2 Cots and a nugget couch piece (for when my kids slept in it in the yard), I would think we could fit a few air mattresses just fine! And whatever else we may need to fit! There is 6 of us and plenty of room ... show more

  • Great tent, as long as no heavy rain
Color: Ocean Blue Size: 10 Person Tent
We love our tent overall. We’ve used it for about 10 trips now. It’s very spacious and easy to put up. I fit a tall queen size air mattress in one side and still have plenty of room on that side to move around. The height is great, too. After 3 year I have only two issues: 1 - it’s not waterproof, though it’s quite water resistant. When we have camped in the woods in light rain we have been fine. But when we camped in a field and got hit with heavy rains, the tent fabric itself got soaked and started leaking through so we had significant puddles all around the perimeter inside. So I don’t recommend this if you plan to camp exposed to heavy rains, but otherwise it’s worked fine. 2 - one pole split some 2.5 years in. Duct tape has worked for 6 months since. ... show more

  • Great buy
Color: Gray Size: 10 Person Tent
Great buy- huge tent, setup is easy, and holds up to a light storm! The door zipper does get stuck a lot but I think that’s going to be typical for most tents due to the flaps to block bugs

  • My fight against the Black Knight
Color: Gray Size: 10 Person Tent
I’ve been living in the woods for almost a year with no tent—just me, the trees, and the raccoon that treats my campsite like a condo complex. This is life-changing!!! I will be able to beat the Black Knight with my sword!! The biggest problem is my sword is not hard but soft and floppy, but I will… and by “will” I mean I will try very theatrically. You remember the sword, right? The same massive hunk of silicone I bought as a white-elephant gag that ended up accidentally legendary? The one I used to terrorize couples on the Gatlinburg trails by tossing it at their feet and then hiding like an extremely passive-aggressive cupid? Yes—that very weapon. The one the bear mistook for performance art until I smacked it in the face three times and sent it running for the trees. That silicone masterpiece has since been elevated from “novelty” to “field-grade deterrent.” It’s now my Excalibur, if Excalibur were made for pool parties and weirdos. Training for the Black Knight has been part swordplay, part improv comedy. I practice dramatic poses on the ridge while squirrels gossip about my form. My battle cry is somewhere between a Viking yell and a guy yelling at a raccoon to stop stealing his chips: “YOU WANT SOME? COME GET IT!” The chipmunks throw shade. The raccoon subscribes to my Patreon of chaos. The Black Knight, for his part, is intimidating in all the ways a medieval stereotype can be: armor so shiny it blinds GPS satellites, a helmet with an attitude problem, and the sort of dramatic cloak that suggests he shops exclusively at stores that smell faintly of storm clouds. He waits on the other side of the valley like a walking thunderstorm. He demands duel etiquette and probably a Yelp review afterward. So the day arrives. I don my battle-ready outfit (a hoodie, some questionable cargo pants, and the boots that have seen better weekends). I strap on the floppy sword like it’s the last life preserver in a rubber-raft apocalypse. I remember the bear. I remember the suction-cup theatrics on the trail. I remember how I put the unopened box on my bed like a shrine until curiosity beat me senseless. Those memories are my pep talk: if I can confuse a bear into running away with a silicone swat, I can confuse a Black Knight into a tactical retreat. The duel begins with a polite bow because boundaries are important even in absurdity. He raises his real blade; I raise my noodle. He lunges. I respond with the highly refined technique I learned fighting a bear—the Three Strikes of Absolutely No Sense™. I wind up, and the sword bends halfway to the Atlantic, flops like a particularly dramatic fish, and then somehow connects with armor. The sound is less “clang” and more “thud and apology.” The Black Knight freezes—obviously not sure whether to be offended or to compliment my commitment to slapstick. Round two is a masterclass in improvisation. I tell a joke mid-swing because why not; making your enemy question reality is a valid tactic. He hesitates, eyebrows doing a thing medieval eyebrows should not be able to do. I take advantage of this cosmic confusion and perform a move I call The Raccoon Distraction: I fling the sword like I used to fling it at hikers—except this time I don’t hide. I follow up with a sprint across a field, a dramatic tumble, and the world’s saddest war cry. Somewhere a chipmunk gives me five stars. By the third strike the Black Knight has two options: demonstrate knightly dignity and continue fighting, or preserve his armor’s Instagram aesthetic and leave. He chooses the latter—not because he’s defeated in the conventional sense, but because he’s seen enough weirdness for a lifetime. He backs away, lifts his visor like a gentleman who’s just been outperformed by a novelty item, and slowly retreats, perhaps planning to write a strongly worded letter to his squire. I stand victorious, slightly out of breath, slightly sticky with confidence, and extremely aware that my sword could double as pool equipment in an emergency. Hikers will retell this tale as the time the man in the tent (yes, I finally bought the tent—it only took three failed assemblies and the faint smell of plastic triumph) scared off a Black Knight with comedic timing and a soft blade. The raccoon applauds from a safe distance. So no—the sword isn’t hard. It’s soft, floppy, and sometimes catastrophic in wind. It bends. It wiggles. It embarrasses physics. But it also has a track record: it has been left in apartment windows to scandalize neighbors, it has been thrown at unsuspecting couples in Gatlinburg, and it has made a bear contemplate career counseling. Most importantly, it’s proof that sometimes determination and ridiculousness are enough to solve a problem—especially when your alternative is being mauled or politely asked to leave by a knight with commitment issues. I keep it by the tent flap now, next to a respectable broom and the bear spray I no longer forget in the truck. When people ask for advice on survival, I tell them two things: always bring your basics, and never underestimate the tactical advantage of being utterly unpredictable. Also—if you ever duel a Black Knight—consider practicing your slapstick. It helps. And when the forest gets quiet and the stars look like a thousand little audience lights, I stand on the ridge, raise my floppy Excalibur to the sky, and shout what has become my life’s credo: Viva La Mountains!!! ... show more
