I changed my review because initially I thought that the bolts were the wrong size. There is a metal piece you'll need to remove from the Pathfinder frame. I used those bolts which fit okay along with a few of the ones that came with the trailer hitch. All the bolts didn't go in easily and I had to clean the bolt holes really well to make them work. I didn't want to give a negative review when the issue with the bolts may have been my Pathfinder and not wrong bolts ... show more

Installed by myself alone. It is heavy but if you put some boxes underneath then it is doable. I used the makita power wrench or it is next to impossible to install with manual wrench. The m8.8 bolts are fit the 2016 pathfinder. You need to Dw40 the holes since they are rusted and the holes are smaller due to rust debris. Good luck! ... show more

The instructions left out one step to make this a LOT easier!!! My Pathfinder did not have the heat shield to trim or worry about. However it did have a tow hook (see photo) under the driver's side. If you remove the tow hook it makes the install go a LOT easier, especially if installing yourself!! And, since you're adding this hitch, you won't need it anyways!!!! The tow hook is held in place by four (4) 18mm bolts. Just remove them, remove the tow hook and THEN install your hitch!!!! It makes the process MUCH easier!!!! Also, here's a tip if installing yourself without any help; use a jack stand to hold up the end of the hitch that you're not starting the bolts in first. When you get one bolt started loosely on one end, then start a bolt on the other end. Start all six (6) of then bolts and then tighten, one bolt alternating from side to side. You'll have a great hitch installed in no time!! It only took me about 45 minutes, start to finish, working on my back on the ground, by myself!! ... show more

    • Very Nice, Easy to Install Reciever
This receiver installs with only 6 bolts, three on each side. On my 2015 Infiniti QX60, I had to remove the tow hook from the driver side before installing the hitch. I will say this, the hardest part of installing the hitch was getting the threads that the mounting bolts go into clear and clean enough for the bolts to thread into them. If you have a new vehicle, or live in the south where road salt and corrosion is not an issue, you are going to have no problem. If your car is 5 years old, and lives it life in the rust belt....buckle up your chinstrap. You are in for workout. Luckily for me, the bolts that came out of the tow hook had had a shoulder on the front of the them, which effectively created tapered threads. By using these bolts, along with some Anti-seize, I was eventually able to get the threads opened up enough to get the new bolts threaded in. Once that happened the install took less than 10 minutes. ... show more

Very easy to install, took about 20 minutes without any help. No drilling or cutting needed, just remove the tow attachment. One problem: prepare to use manual trunk opening, the hitch will cover underneath bumper moving sensors so you won't be able to open or close it with leg kick move.

Para empezar no vinieron los tornillos, llamamos a servicio al cliente muy amable el chico y nos ofreció que embicarían los tornillos y que llegarían en 5 días , asta hoy no an llegado , mi esposo fue a una tienda de auto partes para poder instalarlo , segundo creo que deberían de ser más cuidadosos con el producto en el envío y empaquetado, se que es un material resistente pero llega com abolladuras peladuras , . Tercero le quedo muy bien buena calidad , y funciono muy bien , resistió cuatro bicicletas grandes !!le 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Por que no me llegaron los tornillos, y las abolladuras que trae , en lo demás me a gustado el precio y la cálida y material del producto ! ... show more
