  • Classic Beauty and Superb Sound
Color: Brown
These modern version of the RP 600Ms are even better. Their looks are classic Klipsch and so too is their sound. They arrived quickly, very securely packaged and at a great price. The components all seem well built and tastefully finished.

  • Great sound at a reasonable price
Color: Brown
I'm driving these speakers with my Sansui 5000x and needed sensitive speakers. After a bit of research, I settled on these. I purchased the 600M and the 600M II's so I could do an A-B test. Both wonderful. Bright, airy, and plenty of bass for my needs. I listen to anything from James Taylor to AC/DC depending on my mood of course. Quiet or loud, both excelled. In the end, I settled on the 600M II. As similar as both are, to my ear the 600M II's were a little fuller sounding. Vocals were more present. With the 600M, vocals could sometimes sound a little distant, shallow, or even get swallowed up by the music. For me the extra money was worth the difference so I boxed up the 600M's and sent them back. Couldn't be more satisfied. ... show more

  • A tube amps best friend
Color: Black
I owned the first version of this speaker and used it with both tube and solid state equipment. I simply could not abide by the harsh treble and somewhat missing midrange. I read numerous reviews about the second iteration and how it addressed these issues, so I got a pair while on sale. I’ve been in the audio game since the mid 70’s and have owned more equipment than I can remember, but I have finally found the absolute right speakers to mate with my Rogue Audio Atlas amplifier. In a medium size room there is no need for a subwoofer. These speakers bring out all the best of all genres of music, from jazz to rock, vocals, instrumentals…everything is rendered just perfectly. I never really bought into the phrase “I’m hearing things I never heard before” but with these Klipsch, it’s so true. Mids are present and so well defined, and the hot treble has finally been tamed. Soundstage, imaging, depth…it’s all there. Careful partnering with solid state equipment is necessary, but for tubes, I have finally found my keeper speakers. ... show more

  • Big Sound From Klipsch
Color: Brown
I’ve always been a fan of vintage JBLs or modern floor standing speakers, but these RP 600M II speakers have changed my whole perspective on mid sized speakers and Klipsch products in general. The build quality is excellent for a speaker in this price range. The rear metal binding posts and bi-wiring setup looks to be of high quality. They sound great as is but even better with a subwoofer. I would have paid a little more to get these same speakers in a real wood veneer finish, but the vinyl wrap is well done and does not look cheap. I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Crisp and clean
Color: Black
I purchased the 600m II after a few months of researching. I also considered ELAC, Wharfedale and Q Acoustics. From many video reviews and on line articles I presumed the Klipsch would be a great fit. Also they were at a huge discount. The sound is truly amazing to me. The 600s are very clear with really nice mids and highs. With the music I listen to the bass that the speakers produce is plenty for me. Depending on your music and if you’re using these for a TV audio system you may need to add a subwoofer. These speakers sound great at low volume and rock out at higher volume. They handle male and female vocals extremely well. Instruments are easier to distinguish. I was able to get these on sale for $419 and I couldn’t be happier! ... show more

  • Great sound - but has a design flaw
Color: Brown
Love the sound. Truly great. But there is a design flaw with the terminals. If you use regular speaker wire, you thread the wire through the holes in the binding post and tighten the screw down onto the wire. Trouble is when the screw tightens down on the wire it does not clamp the spade terminal underneath that links the two speakers internally. The screw bottoms on the wire before it reaches the spade terminal. The result is that the two internal speakers (Woofer, tweeter) are not linked to each other. They sound very strange then. The solution is to use banana plugs, or make your own jumper wires. Either way, wiggle the connections to make sure they are ALL tight. ... show more

  • Unbelievable Value and Sound
Color: Brown
This punches much higher than the price indicates. They can play very loud with great clarify and bottom end. Really have not had the desire to add a subwoofer to my music system. This is a no brainier at the sale price!!!
