This X9 wireless rotary tattoo pen machine comes as a decent beginner kit including all the basics to get started. The brushless motor operates smoothly. The pen is comfortable in the hand and is fairly lightweight. It turns on easily and is easy to change the voltage. The small display is clear showing the battery remaining, current voltage, and timing. The included 5-3/4" x 5-3/4" fake skin is good to practice on and is a fair thickness. The two triple-black bottles of ink are 5ml each and I would only use them as a beginner to practice on the fake skin. The set includes a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge the tattoo pen with. The included ten pen cartridges have 5 round line(1203RL) and 5 curved magnums(1205RM). For somebody getting started, this kit is a decent selection.

So here's a little secret about this kit: Buy it just for the rotary pen. Yes, that's right. The pen is so good, it's worth the purchase price on it's own. Every other part of this kit will be a bonus. The tattoo pen in this kit is a wonder. It runs like an absolute champ. No vibration. Quiet. Smooth as silk. I really am taken by it. It's a good looking pen, as well, with straight, parallel sides, and a nice finish. It adjusts easily. The digital LED readout could have been a tad bigger, but it's fine, and it's still easy to read. It's easy to go up and down on the voltage, as well. In this case, the voltage range is from 4.0v to 12.0v, a nice spread. This pen is absolutely silky throughout. Is it perfect? No. It does have one obvious flaw to me, and that is the fact that the stroke length only goes to a maximum of 3.5mm. It really would have been better if it went to 4.2mm, or even 4.4mm. Oh, well. The top of the pen has a USB-C port for charging, and a charging cable is included. The readout also shows battery charge level. This incredible pen has a battery that will run for 10 hours on a full charge! The rest of the kit is fine (10 cartridges, a roll of narrow black grip tape, a single pair of black latex exam gloves, a clip cord if you opt someday to use an AC power supply, some ink caps and a small, yes... oddly small piece of 3mm practice skin in an almost useless size. Buy this for the pen. It's great. You can do a lot with it, and you'll love it, too. Not the cheapest setup, but one of the best. There's real value in that!

Great for beginners, very quiet, and lightweight. I found it easy to handle and easy to use with one hand. Very long battery life and plenty of supplies to start with. With that said, the bottles are small, but I don't think it is that big of a deal. Nice kit overall.

I did not see the dimensions called out on the item details, but this does measure in at about 34MM in diameter by about 137 MM long. This is a pretty stout in size and weighs a little over 8.2 ounces. It is a handful. The machine work and the finish are flawless. There is an option to do a single press quick start. I had to double click the power button when the power was off to get it to activate. Once activated it only takes a single press to turn the motor on. The motor is very smooth and quiet. It doesn't vibrate excessively but I could feel the power from the motor inside from the torque. The battery is a very high capacity 5000 mah and it has lasted all night. My needle cartridges of choice fit well without any binding of sloppy poor fit inside. The included accessories are good but I did prefer my own cups, tape, and ink of choice. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the pen itself and loved using it for shading.
