I decided to ignore the negative reviews but this stopped charging out of no where in the middle of a session. I purchased it in September and have only used it 4 times and have taken great care of it and charged it appropriately. I shouldve trusted the reviews. Don't waste your money.

The media could not be loaded. This machine is a great one to start out with. Its battery life is fantastic. Itโs easy to adjust speed and needle depth. Recharging the battery is simple. The cartridges are really good quality too.

This is a kit that doesn't have anything in particular that is a standout. The pen is "okay", the battery is worthless (in my opinion), and the rest of the kit is passable. The problem here is that the pen and battery pack just don't perform up to the level of their selling price. There are other machines that run better and cost less. That's the simple truth. However, as I said, this is okay, as far as a kit, and I say that with beginners in mind. The pen is nice and short, which is a plus in my book. It also has parallel sides, which makes it thick (a plus), and can be made even fatter with the addition of grip tape and folded paper towel. Also a plus. The pen does run rough, though, with a lot of vibration throughout it's working range (5.0v to 12.0v). The battery adjusts in odd increments, and I will tell you outright that I prefer those batteries that adjust in 1/10th of a volt increments. That makes it easy to dial in the correct working voltage, making your work easier. The pen has a modest stroke length of 3.5mm, which is fine, and is what I expect to see in entry level machines. Higher level & more expensive machines have wider ranges of stroke, say up to 4.4mm. The battery is fine, in my view. Easy to adjust, large, clear digital LED readout, and capable of 1/10v voltage setting adjustments. This makes really precise dialing possible. Comes with clip cord (to work off AC power (you'll need a foot switch and AC power supply, if you want to use this option), and a charging cord. Also included in this kit are a set of 10 tattoo needle cartridges, a single roll of black grip tape (narrow), a set of ink caps, a single pair of black latex exam gloves, two tiny bottles of black ink, and the smallest piece of 3mm synthetic tattoo practice skin I've ever seen. I understand... it had to fit in the box, but the size makes it fairly useless, as well. There are instruction books for both the pen and the battery. I'm not completely impressed with this set at this price. It's okay, but there are some choices that may be better... for even less.

the machine works pretty well the size is very good ideal for small-medium hands, the battery provides a good punch for around 5 hours and the vibration level is good. the other accessories make this machine ready to use on day 1.
