It sits heavy in the hand and if you have smaller to medium sized hands, you’ll experience cramping and fatigue early on. You’ll absolutely need some type of grip as the entire exterior is smooth and feels it could easily move within your grip. The value is good, for what you get! It’s easy to operate and quality seems decent.

Just got into tattooing and needed a beginner gun and grabbed this Dragonhawk. Battery run time is pretty good even though a second battery is supplied. Im only doing fake a skin tattoos so far but my art comes out great with this gun. I will say that my hand does cramp up after long rubs due to the girth of this unit so I may need to make an alteration for a more comfortable grip. So far I'm impressed with this budget friendly tattoo gun.
