The weight takes some getting used to to swapping from a traditional style machine but overall it’s great so far. Honestly for a beginner to have not break the bank on a good quality tattoo machine is already a win, this kit comes with an extra battery both lasting up to 5+ hours of run time. It’s really quiet yet delivers precision and the motor runs smooth. Definitely worth the $100 I spent

This is one of the better beginner tattoo kits I have seen in terms of performance, ease of use, and included accessories. The pen-style machine is lightweight and comfortable to hold, which makes a big difference for anyone still developing steady hand control. The wireless setup is simple and clean. The battery held up well over multiple practice sessions without losing power or consistency. It delivered smooth lines with enough precision to build confidence, even for someone with limited experience. The controls are easy to understand and respond well, which helps reduce frustration during early practice. The kit also includes everything needed to get started. The needles, inks, and practice skin are all functional and make the learning process straightforward. While the materials are not premium, they are appropriate for the price and purpose. You can tell the kit is designed to help beginners focus on skill development without spending extra on professional gear too early. There are a few minor limitations. The overall construction is on the lighter side, so it may not hold up under heavy use. Some components, like the cartridges and ink, will eventually need to be replaced with higher quality alternatives. Still, these issues are expected in a beginner setup and do not take away from the value. If you are just starting out and want something that works well right out of the box, this is a great option. It has the right balance of simplicity, functionality, and affordability. You can grow with it for a while before feeling the need to upgrade. This is an excellent machine that I can't say enough good things about. First of all, the quality is amazing for the low price of the set. The machine is lightweight and easy to use. The pack includes cartridges and black ink along with other usable accessories. Having two batteries is perfect. Each battery has a long life by itself so having two means continous tattooing with no pauses for charging. This set would make a wonderful gift.

I have a couple of tattoos and I was interested in learning how to tattoo as a fun hobby. I don’t plan on working on human models anytime soon, but I thought that working on some fake skin would be fun to start off. I saw this company had a bunch of different models for machines, and chose this one because of its extra battery and the display for the voltage. Overall, from the machine itself, I like the design and feeling while working on a tattoo. However, the accessories that come with the kit are less than desirable in a kit like this. The kit has a lot inside the package, including the tattoo machine, two batteries, 1oz of black ink, transfer paper, grip tape, (1 pair) rubber gloves, and 1203RL & 1205RS needle cartridges. It is packaged nicely and the machine comes with two USB-A to USB-C cables. Additionally, there is an RCA adapter piece if you wanted to use a power supply. It honestly comes with a lot, and it can look like you’re getting a big deal on these supplies (more on this later). The machine, which is the most important part, works pretty well. It is light enough to not feel fatigued for long periods of time. The stroke can be adjusted by twisting the machine to select what stroke length you want. Batteries are easy to exchange, and are powered by USB-C. Furthermore, the needles that it comes with work well enough (again, I am no expert, and have just recently picked up this hobby), and I am yet to experience barbed and/or bent needles. My biggest complaint comes from everything outside of the machine and needles. The ink is fine, although it is 1oz, it is good enough to start practicing without spending a large sum of money. The ink caps provided are in a sterile packaging with adhesive, which although they work well, will be exposed to contaminants due to the packaging (not a big deal at all for those who are just practicing). The grip tape is small, but if you really didn’t want to spend money on tape, these would work for a short period of time. Outside of that, I have nothing really positive to say about the other accessories. They give you one pair of gloves, which would only really work for one session. The fake skin that is provided is 1mm thick, which is way too thin to actually practice with, as you need to enter your needle at least 1-1.5mm into the skin. The reason why I am not exactly thrilled with the extras that are provided is because I feel like it would cut costs by just providing the machine itself. The fake skin, transfer paper, grip tape, gloves, and wristband (for some reason) all feel really unnecessary, and I would have rather that the product cost less without these accessories instead of including them. To my knowledge, I could not find the product on their website, so I was not able to confirm the MSRP without the kit. Regardless, if they had an option without these accessories, and given us the opportunity to purchase extra supplies (ink, gloves, transfer paper/fake skin, grip tape, etc.) I would have preferred that. At the end of the day, the machine itself works. If you were thinking about getting this kit for the machine itself, I would say this machine works well. However, I would not purchase this with the intention of using this as a platform to learn how to tattoo with its included fake skin, grip tape, and gloves. Finally, I would not use this as a means of tattooing onto yourself or someone else without proper training and research, as tattoos can very easily become infected when in the wrong environments.
