Long time Artist, just getting back into it and trying a cheaper "pro" wireless. Coils were super heavy and with early onset arthritis...not great. This one is super light and I love the grip end...perfect size for my chunky hands. I feel this would be a great machine to learn on, I'm loving it so far. Only two small complaints: 1) no beginner tattoo templates (they're supposed to be included, was kinda looking forward to using them 2) the fake skin sheet is 1mm (proper tattooing should be done from 1mm-2mm to properly set the ink into the middle skin layer. Learning on 1mm is bad practice. If you're going with this kit to learn with, invest in some good 3mm fake skins or even a fake arm with thicker silicon, you'll thank yourself the first time you see a healed early piece still shine years later The liner and shader that come in this kit are good quality, but also invest in a few magnum shaders if you plan on filling (packing) areas. The 05 shader is more of a liner for me, or I'll use it for stipple sometimes. Ran for a few hours and still had plenty of battery life, I'm assuming a 3 hour piece would be doable... I'd get a spare battery but I plan on using this one for practice only, and investing in another pro-level wireless now that I'm getting more used to this Overall great quality so far, does not allow you to set your stroke, but does have a 4mm stroke. That's great for beginners

Honestly loving this machine for a total beginner. It has evening in the photo. The skin is trash so if you get this make sure to also stock some 3mm skin. You can’t adjust the stroke on this but you can adjust the needle hang. Unfortunately there aren’t any numbers to tell how far out the needle is.
