First let me say for all the people leaving negative reviews because pre-order code is missing, please go check your Amazon Messages in your account. This is where your code will be. This game is great! It is like rewatching the series but you get to participate. It is the entire Dragon Ball Z series! Plus you get to roam around and do side quests or just blow up mountains it’s great! I was kinda hoping for a turn based rpg battle system because I am not a fan of fighter games but this game does it well and after a few fights I got the hang of it. I have no objections to this game. It starts out a little slow but doesn’t take long to pick up. Some things can end up time consuming but you stick to it and it can get done. Pay attention to the little quick views and characters talking during it can be really helpful. Some sub quests end up needing to get done before the quest. I play it and have a hard time putting it down because it is so fun no more Street fighter or mortal Kombat thing. This is a free roam rpg fighting leveling up game so stats are not set and you can just improve yourself to which makes this game really cool and fun. ... show more

DBZ is my favorite show of all time and is considered to be a classic to many. When I heard that there was a game where it was essentially the entire game but playable I got excited. First of all I only recommend this game to the hardcore DB/DBZ fans, so I say you should watch DBZ or DBZ Kai before playing this to know what you are getting yourself into. First, the story. The story is just the story of DBZ. (Side note. But I love how Kakarot creates filler episides after an ark is over. It's a nice little touch) Second, graphics. The graphic are a good. They aren't like Xenoverses graphics of mediocre. But the animation is more on the lazy side. The characters in the cutscenses are very unexpressive. The characters dont have much charm to them like in the show. Third, gameplay. The gameplay is very button mashy. Simply spamming B is all you need to get though emenies. Holding RB can make you do a special move like the Kamehameha for Goku or Galalic Gun for Vegeta. You can press A to vanish or hold it to super dash. LT to block and the D-Pad for Items. Now in the over world the controls for flying suck. First of all the controls are so awkward. You press/hold RB to go up and press/hold RT to go down and press down on the left stick to super dash. Also Helpful reminder turn the characters voice down because THEY DO NOT SHUT UP. I have heard Gohan say "I think I can handle this." more than I can count. Also in the overworld there are Orbs you can collect to level up your characters stats. There are 4 types of orbs( red, green, blue and rainbow). Now there orb are everywhere. No matter where you are. Overall DBZ Kakarot is a great game dor the hardcore DBZ fans. While it has its upsides, it has its downsides as well. I say buy it physically on Amazon because its at a very good price. This game gets a nice 8/10 ... show more

It's Dragon ball Z.... Sure you've played the story of this game like a billion times but this one is different, more robust and deeper than any other dbz fighting/action game, there's so much to do on this, despite this being called Kakorat, you don't just play as Goku (which is a plus) It plays like an action RPG with the animation of the Naruto ultimate ninja storm games, so it really looks crisp on a 4k flat-screen. If you're a fan of Dragon Ball Z then cop this, you won't be disappointed! ... show more
