It can be a bit tricky to find the right opening and the tape doesnt stick but the product itself is really solid. Not too much liquid to make you get the ick and the smell is pleasant and not overpowering or that strong “fake” lavender scent. I put them on and a pair of socks over each foot gently massage for a minute and leave for an hour or so and my feet are silky smooth. I swear it helps me sleep better.     • Fastener slips off but otherwise a solid product

As other reviews have said, these aren't as easy to open and secure as the instructions say. The inside lining had to be separately peeled open and the adhesive fastener slipped off entirely. I kept them on my feet by putting socks over them which also helped me not slip and slide on the kitchen floor. There is a little tingling sensation. Not unpleasant but unexpected. The scent is nice and helps make it feel like a spa experience. If I had to choose, I do prefer the Aquaphor booties over these, but they're still top quality and a good price. ... show more

    • Too hard to open! The foil booties are much easier.

I have used both these and the Dr. Scholl's Tired, Achy Feet many times. I am going to give a review and some suggestions for Dr. Scholl's. First the Dry, Cracked Feet: these are so hard to tear open and the sticker never sticks. Dr. Scholl's should use the foil material that is used for the Tired, Achy Feet. These moisturize very well. I am going to guess that it is because of the urea. I use them right after a long shower that includes using a pumice stone; same routine for both products except that I have never left the Tired, Achy Feet on overnight and almost always do for the Dry, Cracked Feet. I always put socks on over either kind because if I am walking around, they can be slippery. The Tired Achy Feet: These always open easily and the sticker always sticks. I don't feel anything until about 15 minutes after applying these. After approximately 15 minutes I start feeling a cooling sensation. It is pleasant. After about 30 minutes I start feeling a burning sensation. It's not a burning sensation like your skin is sunburnt or on fire. It is quite soothing actually. It feels like Icy Hot or Bengay. It is not at all irritating to my skin. When I take them off, my skin is normal color, no rash etc. I do not have overly sensitive skin. I only feel this on the tops and sides of my feet though, nothing on the bottoms, which seems strange. It's usually the bottoms of my feet that are achy. I wear these for 30 minutes sometimes and sometimes for a couple of hours. After I take these off, my feet feel a very cold sensation (not to the touch) for several hours. These would be great not only for sore feet but for very hot days because it makes you feel cooler overall. It's kind of like what you would feel if you soaked your feet in hot water with a lot of peppermint essential oil in it. I don't find these very moisturizing but better than nothing. Sizing: I wear a women's 8 1/2. The Dry, Cracked Feet ones are snug width wise and would probably be uncomfortable for anyone with women's size 10 or above. The Tired, Achy Feet have lots of room and would probably fit a men's 13 foot. This is another reason that Dr. Scholl's should use the foil booties for both. Women with larger feet and most men would appreciate this. Neither have an overpowering scent. Obviously I would recommend both for different reasons. I tried this foot mask because it was quite dry and some areas with rough skin. The application was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. After several days, the skin began to gradually flake, especially in the driest areas. Although the process requires some patience, the results were completely worth it. Once the peeling was over, my feet felt incredibly soft. The skin was much smoother and with a renewed appearance, practically like that of a baby. I also liked that I didn't have to rub or use aggressive tools to remove dead skin; the product did the job on its own. If you have dry, rough or cracked feet, this mask can make a big difference. I am very satisfied with the results and I would definitely use it again when my feet need an intensive hydration and renewal treatment. ... show more

    • A messy hassle, seek better options

Not the best option for a foot mask as the entire process was pretty messy. The sock is a plastic bag with a separate lotion soaked inner liner. Upon opening the outer package, the outside of the plastic socks were already wet with the lotion and the adhesive strips that are supposed to wrap around the ankle dissolved and would't stay closed. There is no perforation to open the socks and you have to roughly tear the layers or cut the tops to place your foot inside. Too much hassle and waste IMO. The mask itself works fine and but has a smell reminiscent of pinesol cleaner. The recommended treatment time is about 30 min. ... show more

These are the best hydrating foot mass I've ever used. They truly work to remove the cracked and/or dead skin cells on your feet. within 3 days your feet start feeling it and I tell you what they will peel ALOT so be prepared for that.

    • Poor instructions and a big mess.

It's a mess. Opening the masks is difficult to say the least. Had to tear the mask to open then the sock inside was glued closed so had to tear that open. The tape used to close the sock around the ankle, only about two inches long, would not stick to the sock. I ended up using medical tape wrapped around the ankle to hold the sock in place. The very poor instructions say to wear the sock for 30 minutes then massage the solution into the foot and finely, wipe off remaining solution. After all that, skin seamed softer but by morning the skin was back to the old dry condition. I didn't send it back but I sure won't buy any more. ... show more
