  • Arthritis relief!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have been having aching hands for the past couple of months. I couldn't decide between this and the DreamTime Healing Touch Hand Cozys so I bought both for some heat therapy. I'm keeping both...the total cost of both items ($54.03) seems pretty reasonable, especially considering how much they help. This item, the Conair True Glow Heated Mitts, provides the constant heat. Some have mentioned that it gets really hot. My experience has been that if I start with my hands inside when I plug in, the mitts don't feel too hot. When I first used it, I turned on to warm up without my hands inside...that time I noticed it was pretty hot but I'm sure that's because I didn't let my hands gradually warm up with the gloves to get used to the heat. It's kind of like dropping an egg into a pot of boiling water vs starting with it in room temperature water and then putting it on the stove. Now, the reason I kept the DreamTime Hand Cozyz. I microwaved those mitts but as many other reviewers for that item have noted, they don't stay warm as long as these. The pros of the HandCozy are that the scented herb packets are soothing and seem to give off a moist heat. In general, the HandCozys are more snuggly feeling with the velvet liners. When the heat wore off, I took the scented packets out of the velvet casing and put in the Conair mitts. Best of both worlds! Someone said the Conair mitts are too big but I disagree. They are roomy enough to slide in one of the packets AND for me to do my hand stretching exercises at the same time. An added bonus is that my hands feel super soft. I'm totally addicted to the heat therapy that both of these products provide together. ... show more

  • Moisturizing is noticeable
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Heats up well. Not hot but it shouldn’t be hot. Warmth is nice and I do wrap my hands in plastic wrap. I had my daughter in law try it and she enjoyed it too. She works with children and washes her hands frequently. I used it last winter and I’m ready to use it this fall. Faster result than wearing lotion with cotton gloves at night. ... show more

  • Works, for personal use may be a little bulky
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Hmmm. They do they job - get nice and warm, maintain heat. They make my sore hands feel pretty good after a day of typing. Also, very affordable and a reliable brand. That said, they are cumbersome as heck. I wish they were either a different shape or more flexible. They are probably fine for a salon where a tech slips them over your hands but it’s a bit difficult to position hand 2 when doing it yourself, and then you have to sit there with basically 2 padded 9x12 envelopes on your hands. Something actually mitt shaped would be a little better, and maybe made out of heating pad material (soft cloth) on the outside? But for salon use with waxes or lotions, this is probably a fine design. ... show more

  • Best Thing I've ever bought
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I got these because I'm having issues with my hands and my Physical Therapist suggested wet heat. I took lotion and then put clean socks on my hands and they felt so much better, but they also felt so much softer as well. I am thinking about seeing if they have a version for the feet. *Update* Still think this is the best thing ever, although I would like to suggest maybe putting something over your hands if your going to use it on high. It does get a little too hot for bare fingers on high. I usually use a pair of socks that haven't been used but a towel or some type of mit would work as well. I still have no regrets buying this. ... show more

  • Waste of Money--Barely Any Heat on the Highest Setting
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
UPDATE: I did receive some money back, but I had to go through Conair, themselves, and it took several weeks to receive a check. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am so disappointed in this product, and I did not realize there are no returns! Total waste of money. :( I literally received it yesterday, and now I'm stuck with it. AND I have to find something better, which means more money. I have a rare connective tissue condition called systemic sclerosis (which you can see in the unfiltered photo--that is not from the mitts), and I need to keep my hands warm to keep them flexible and prevent them from permanently becoming stuck in the shape of claws. I thought this product would be an amazing tool for helping me do that--easier, cheaper, less messy, and more efficient than daily paraffin wax treatments. Its seemed like a perfect solution. But I am blown away by how little heat is emitted from this product. I don't know what other people are talking about saying that the mitts get too hot--on the highest setting, you can barely tell they're on!!! My normal large heating pad is at least 3x warmer with consistent heating, and I assumed this would have equivalent temperatures. What little heat is generated in these mitts is also focused one side of the mitt only, and the heat is not constant. The best product I have found so far are the Ocoopa hand warmers, but those are devices you have to hold in your own hands, and they only heat the parts of your palms and fingers that are touching the heated areas. Maybe these mitts are enough heat if you need as little as possible. But if you have systemic sclerosis, find a better heated mitt product. ... show more

  • Had only on/off switch, not 3-temperature control as described.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
The product description says “3 temperature setting” but the item I received only had an on/off switch. Amazon has two different items pictured for this product. The first photo shows one with only an on/off switch. The third photo shows one with a 3-temperature switch. Returning.

  • Love them. Feels so good on arthritic hands. Can fit up to your wrists too.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Love the size of them. You can put your hand in clear up passed your wrist, so it works for both. Three heat levels and "hi" is about all the heat you could take. These are perfect when your hands hurt so bad form arthritis, and those cold snowy days when your hands are freezing (on low of course), or for sprains. Conair makes good products. I have 2 hair dryers of theirs that I have had for 20 years. ... show more
