Update: I was skeptical! But after a week of use, I am thoroughly impressed and will be reordering. I run, in the summer go barefoot around my house, and in the winter months everything feels dry; so with all of that, my heels and feet can feel and look dry and rough. However, this cream is a game-changer! I haven't used any other form of exfoliation while using this treatment and the difference in how my feet look even after just a week--particularly since it is very dry and cold in the mountains right now--is very apparent. Love this stuff! A tip: You don't have to use this daily. In between I use vaseline (petrolatum) and between the two, my feet have never been softer. I just be sure to wear socks until absorption. ------ While this foot 'cream' is a little greasy like thinned out vaseline, and while you are rubbing it in, it'll feel as if your feet will be heavy and greasy feeling, it absorbs quickly and nicely. I do put socks on after application. I apply in the morning since I can't sleep in socks and wouldn't want any of the lotion on my nice sheets. It's thick but easily spreads--easy to apply. There's no scent at all that I can detect. After application, I don't even notice I have it on so that's a huge plus. My feet look so much better. My heels can be rather rough and dry in the winter, and in the summer I like to keep my feet nice and smooth for sandals and flip-flops. This will help quite a bit, along with other exfoliation that I do every so often. My feet do feel and look softer after a few applications. Sure, after one application your feet may look better but that really goes with any heavy emollient cream. I think with continued use this will help even more. My heels were so cracked, I could barely walk. I’ve been tip toeing everywhere I walk to keep the pressure off my heels. I bought some feet masks from tjmaxx & a “cracked heel” balm stick. It did absolutely nothing for the cracks. So I ordered this to try out. Oh my gosh, it’s my new favorite product ever. It REALLY does make your heels better in one day. I put it on at night, put socks on and woke up completely pain free & my heels haven’t looked this good in years! I’ve been using it for 3 days now and my entire foot is brand new. My results are 100% from this product alone. I haven’t even scrubbed my feet with a sander or anything. When I’m in the shower, I just use soap and a wash cloth. Then dry and rinse them really well. I ordered this foot ointment bcuz the Budget Dermatologist on YouTube highly recommends it, and I'm so glad I did! Previously, I was putting castor oil on my feet every night to deal with the dryness, but if I missed even one night, or more, my feet would be terribly dry. After using this ointment for a little while, I can now go several days without using anything on my feet. Plus, when I do need to apply some it's generally only in a few spots and not on the entire foot, as before. It’s ok for rough, dry feet but I found using a cream with 40% urea works better and is much cheaper when using regularly for a larger area. I copied another reviewer and use this on my fingers instead! It’s helped keep the edges around my nails smoother, softer and more moisturized so I don’t pick at them as much. Wow, this Kerasal Nighttime Foot Repair worked in one night — actually shocked! My heels were cracked & dry, pretty bad, but I slathered this on before bed and woke up with noticeably softer, less painful skin. What blew me away: Softening = instant. The rough edges on my heels felt way smoother in the morning. Hydration lasted. No flaking or cracks immediately coming back after I washed or walked around. Texture & smell are nice — not sticky, not super fragrant, which I love (less likely to irritate or feel weird under socks). Final take: If your feet are begging for rescue, this thing delivers. I have been using this product for a month now. Every time I get out of the shower, I use it. It makes my feet really soft. I would say any roughness goes away after using this product. It absorbs way better than any petroleum and leaves my feet moisturized. There is no scent to this product.

It’s not doing a bad job with making my heels smoother. I didn’t notice anything the first day, it was more like the third day. And it’s way too greasy!!! If you can make this same product without all that petroleum and a little more salicylic acid, it would be near perfect!!

I’m 56, borderline diabetic but HWP, live in super arid New Mexico, and just plain have naturally dry skin. This stuff is seriously amazing. I forgot to ped egg my feet per the usual this week when I was grooming my feet and realized that I did not need to! I have the soles of a well groomed 17 year old after three weekly applications post filing. For about 3-5 weeks in a row use a foot file then apply one inch of this ointment to your feet and put on thick socks. After a while you really may not need to file your feet at all.
