A lot of people gauge the life remaining of a shoe based on the outer sole of the shoe. But often times, a lot of the stride comfort is derived from the inner sole which occupies the space between the shoe and your foot. As a trail runner, I’ve found my outer soles can withstand over a 1,000 miles. However, the inner sole which experiences considerable compression and expansion in a very short space, will often breakdown for sooner. I’ve learned the hard way to retire inner soles every 300-400 miles. It’s resulted in far less joint injury/pain and improved distance running times and overall comfort. These Dr Scholl inner soles are easy to trim to the desired size, offer excellent comfort and support, and last far longer than most OEM inner soles that ship with popular athletic shoes. Additionally, if you have more formal or casual shoes with little to no inner sole cushion and want a softer all day feel, these also work great in that capacity. Highly recommended! ... show more

For the last 10 years or more I used to use the work massaging gel or the work insoles from Dr Scholl's but after buying these and trying them out they seem so much better than the work ones and I'm going to have to put them through a lot of work to fully test them but I tried every single kind of insoles for men in my life and I think these are the ones that are going to do the best for me by Dr Scholl's, even bought the big and tall ones but they do not seem right they're not much wider than the normal ones and they're thinner towards the top part then these are. I do landscaping and lawn maintenance so I literally walked/speed walk miles every day and need the right souls for my shoes or I can destroy a pair of souls within a week, I wear size 13 shoes and boots and I could just fit these right in there without cutting them like most of the Dr Scholl's insoles but I really think these are the ones that are going to help me the most. edit yes they're not wearing out and they're the best Dr Scholl's ls insoles I ever bought, I wish Amazon will put these on subscribe and save and even have a two pack deal or something please because I go through boots like crazy with the work I do landscaping and lawn maintenance. ... show more

I have a pair of old sneakers that are still in good condition but I hadn’t worn them for a long time and the stock foam inserts dried out and crumbled apart so I needed a replacement. The cutting lines to fit different shoes sizes were accurate enough and it fits well in the shoe. Of course if you have really narrow shoes, you can always trim the edges. They feel pretty comfortable but nothing super-amazing like custom-fit orthotic inserts. But I ended up getting another to replace the insoles in my dress shoes. ... show more

I'm 8 months pregnant and my feet hurt so bad. I bought one of these to put into some tennis shoes, then turned around and bought them for all of my shoes. These are my favorite Dr. Scholls. inserts. It features gel padding on the heel and forefoot and a plastic arch support. You have to be careful with insoles that have a built -in arch support. If the support is too far forward or back, they will probably hurt your feet over time. I've had that problem with other insoles. Fortunately, the support on this insole fits my arch well. I wear my shoes barefooted and I've had problems with other insoles sticking to my feet and coming out when I take the shoe off. I haven't had that problem with these because the liner is made of some kind of material that wicks the moisture away, so my foot doesn't stick to it. Overall, a comfortable and supportive insole. It's advertised as to be used for "sport". I'm not really sure what they mean by "sport". I use them in all my shoes and boots. I don't do much in the way of sport. Don't make the mistake of thinking that these are for younger and more active people. If you are an elderly person, give it a shot. ... show more

Purchased this product because my shoe was still good but worn on the insole. If you wear a size 11 shoe, you have to trim it to the 12, otherwise it will be too short.

I had to get them for work. The first week was hell with these, it seemed to make my foot pain worse than it was originally. It got better after that, and I now have no foot pain at all! Pro: No more foot pain! Con: Struggled with cutting the padding to size of my shoe.
