I always wanted my own pair of Chelsea boots so I brought them as an early Christmas gift to myself. Stylish and chic. They have a non-slip rubber bottom and can easily slip in but you might need a hand to get them off your feet. I personally went a size up because it gives my toes a bit of wiggle room since I’m on my feet all day. I haven’t worn them on a rainy day but I think it can manage muddy terrain or puddles of water when the time is right. The two cons I found are rough edges around the opening of the boots that might scratch your ankles and they are a bit heavy ( weight one pound each per shoe ). I recommend wearing thick socks with these boots. It takes some time to break-in but I think it’s worth it.

It's been a couple of months and these have become my go-to boots. I wear a size 8 and these not only fit perfectly, they required no breaking in whatsoever. With the loop they are super fast to put on, and they're easy to kick off. They're also holding up well in rainy weather. Had I planned in advanced I would've sized up to have room for some fuzzy Ugg inserts, but these are plenty comfortable on their own.

I needed some rainproof boots for the rain and winter season, but I wanted something fashionable I could easily pair with my clothing too. These are my first pair or Dr. Martens and I am very happy with my purchase. I find they are good quality and were not too difficult to break in. I'm still breaking them in and sometimes take them off in my office to give my feet some comfort, but they are not uncomfortable shows per se, its just that the leather takes some time to mold into your foot's shape. They are easy to slip on and have a really sturdy inner and outer sole that I am hoping will last me a good time. Ultimately, I am very very happy with my first pair of Dr. Martens and am happy I chose this style.

TLDR: aesthetic, functional, and well worth the investment. I’ve had them for 3 years, used almost daily, even in snow and on oil. As long as you take care of them, they’ll last you a very long while. Break them in with some wool socks to make the process a little less painful. Easy to put on and take off. I bought these back in 2021, and only now are they starting to show wear and tear (mainly the insole, and I’m inconsistent in the upkeep of them). It took me two weeks to break them in with some very thick wool socks, and it was very much worth it. Ive used them on an almost daily basis for the last three years, even during snowy days, and in kitchens(I was a cook). While not 100% slip resistant on ice and when you accidentally spill oil after cleaning the fryers, they still hold up well. I can wear them with almost anything. They’re truly both aesthetic and functional, and easy to clean. I’m pretty sure that if you are more consistent in the upkeep of them than I am, these will look and feel fantastic for much longer than mine.

I usually take between a 101/2 and 11 in a shoe or boot. Since this did not come in a 101/2, I ordered an 11. When I tried to get foot into the boot using a shoe horn the shaft was very tight. After much effort, I got my foot part way down the shaft. My foot then stopped. I could not get it into the toe area. I initiated a return because the boot was never going to fit. This is where the "fun" began. Since I wanted the credit to come back to my credit card, I have to wait 30 DAYS FOR MY REFUND!! I don't think it takes 30 days to ship the item back to Amazon since I got it in 5 days. I have NEVER had anyone that I have bought from have a 30 day wait for a refund. I will NOT be buying any shoes or large items from Amazon ever again.

Lifelong restaraunt boh and foh, one week into ownership, four 10 hour shifts. I was skeptical going into it since I've never owned a pair of doc's before, but needed something to stand up to 10 hour shifts and would also be sturdy enough to handle riding around on a heavy motorcycle, and also deal with my super flat feet (I usually have to rotate shoes to rotate which part of my feet/legs I want to hurt the next day.. I'm that old, apparently). Out of the box and just standing there these boots feel stiff and flat, but when you're on the move that bulkiness tends to dissappear. I hadn't felt really any pain or discomfort until the end of day four, and that's just because it was a long day. Easy to wipe to clean, looks good in manager pants, non slip actually works, easy to wear all day. Definitely go for it if you are on the fence. I'm a size 8 everywhere, and the doc's fit pretty much perfectly.
