Best everyday Docs!! I wear these to my clinic in professional wear and out and about in causal clothes. Size - true to size or half size big/allows for comfort but doesn't feel like I am going to fall out/lose my shoe if I ran. Normally I range 8-9 or 39-39.5 depending on the brand. These required zero break-in time, do not rub my ankle. I do wear with socks majority of the time, but even sock free I was blister free. I would purchase this style and size (women's?) 8/39 of Docs over and over. Arch support - minimal but effective (maybe not for those with super high requiring more cushion) Slip - no issues/concerns Weight - some, as expected due to rubber and materials Thick - would not be ideal with joggers or skinny pant type of outfits

I purchased my normal shoe size and was worried that it might not be comfy slipping on and off without having to unbuckle it everytime. For reference, my toe area is like 4 inches wide on a good day lol. HOWEVER, I did not have that problem at all!! Straight out the box it was comfortable and I was able to slip it on and off (not smoothly but doable!) It has been a little over half a year since I got them and I was able to break them in after 4 months of daily wear at work. Get these, they are soo worth it and you'll get lots of compliments too!

Obsessed! Long time doc marten fan. These are just darling and I didn’t even need to break them in. I wear them nearly everyday. The only time I noticed any pain is when I sprained my ankle prior to wearing them, when I put them on I definitely felt the heaviness of the shoe. But on a day by day basis- I don’t notice it much.

I am an avid Doc wearer and fan and let me tell you, these are awesome. They are so comfortable, the buckels were a little stiff but that will change with time. I have dress socks on in the photo but fully intend on wearing my cute print socks with them because I have the room! The leather is also stunning in person, the overall structure and siIlouhette are spot on for a classic Mary Jane. I wore them to work today and I felt solid and confident walking in them. I normally wear a size 7 in all other shoes (ideally a 6.5 wide, but not every brand carries half sizes, Docs included) and I ordered a 6. Perfect fit. Wonderful shoe. Get them!

I’m between sizes for reference I’m 6.5-7 women but I ordered the 7 and they do fit good with a little space but I always wear thick socks with these shoes so they fit perfect without giving me blisters. Good quality and has weight to it but not too heavy
