8 was too small and 9 too big, I bought these inserts for my 9s and now they fit perfectly. If your shoes fit great now, I think this insert would make them too small, but if your shoes are a little big, this solves the problem.

I finally bought a pair of burgundy platform Doc Martens that I’ve been eyeing since 2020. I found them online but they didn’t come in a 8.5 so I decided to order a 9 thinking I’d be fine wearing a thicker sock. That was a no go. I had to put on three socks to make them fit properly! I was getting ready to send them back until I read about these insoles somewhere on the internet. I was skeptical until I skimmed through the reviews here on Amazon which persuaded me enough to order them. I bought these bc I’m an 8.5 and my size 9 docs are way too big. I was nervous bc they had for me but I lost 1.5 sizes in shoes from weight loss. I wanted to give these a try before I had to sell my fav doc boots. The sole fits (almost) perfect and now I can wear my docs! I will say the insole for my right shoe does not fit right. I’m going to order another and see if it works. The back of the insole towards the heel keeps folding leaving an uncomfortable sharp feeling on the back of my ankle.
