  • Amazing comfort
Size: 11 Women/10 Men Color: Dark Tan
I work at Costco and am on my feet all day on a concrete floor, according to my pedometer I do about 28,000 steps a day, 12+ miles. I have been a sneaker guy and love my Asics but hate the sloppy look. These shoes both look amazing and feel like a sneaker. I have heard horror stories about break in periods but I took these out of the box yesterday morning put them on and had a 23,000 step day without issue, as the day went on they became more comfortable, my new go to sneaker is now a shoe. I love them so much I ordered their Chelsea Boot. If you are a half size round up since they only do whole sizes. I am a 9 1/2 EE 10US fit perfect. Edit The shoe and laces stretched a bit with break in, switched to a thicker insolehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YY6HRQC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and they fit like a glove. Still a dressier shoe with the comfort of a sneaker. ... show more

My job requires me to be on my feet all day and these shoes are supportive and comfortable. I usually wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 and they fit perfect and look great

  • Stylish but Considerate Fit Required
Size: 7 Women/6 Men Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
I recently purchased a pair of Dr. Martens shoes, and overall, I'm quite impressed. They have a beautiful design and seem to be of excellent quality. The size fits perfectly, and the weight, while a bit heavy, gives them a sturdy feel. However, I did notice a notable detail in the design. The upper part of the heel counter is quite rigid and ends in a slight forward incline. This feature introduces a certain discomfort at the back of the foot. Wearing the shoes snugly can potentially cause rubbing against the Achilles tendon, leading to some discomfort. While the aesthetic appeal and overall quality are undeniable, I would advise potential buyers to be mindful of the fit, especially if opting for a snug size. It's a trade-off between style and a slightly uncomfortable design element in the heel area. ... show more

  • Blister Martens
Size: 10 Women/9 Men Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
The shoes are super cute and look like the ones in the photos. But a down side to these shoes is how they give you blisters on the back side of your foot. These shoes are really tight in the inside so they don’t give you any room for your feet. But these shoes are rllyyyy cute so I think it’s worth it. ... show more

These are what you expect - high quality, expensive, heavy made shoes. On that dimension they are excellent

  • Only good non slips
Size: 13 Women/12 Men Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
I have undoubtedly struggled to find good, durable non slip shoes. Tried shoes4crews, slip resistant PF flyers, vans for the makers, and the slip-resistant doc martens 1460. All of the former broke on me within months (soles began to separate from uppers, cracks in the soles, and treads wore out ridiculously fast, especially for the vans). The only exception were the docs, but a boot is not always what you want when you’re running around a massive restaurant/ beer garden, bartending or working back of house as a sous chef (I rotate between all of these in my business)- so I decided to give the 1461 low tops a try. The break in period was excruciating and full of blisters and blood, there is no way around admitting that. But now that they are broken in they fit like a glove. These are my favorite work shoes by far, and they have not shown a sign of wear yet despite me working them HARD. Obviously there are some other durable non-slips out there… but they are often butt ugly. And I’m kind of vain, admittedly, so I won’t be buying those. I will definitely update if this changes, but basing off of how reliable the high top boots are, I have my entire faith in these. ... show more

  • Shocking Decline in Quality
Size: 11 Women/10 Men Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
I have worn Doc Martens as my daily shoe now for almost 20 years. After 5 years I had to replace my previous Docs. The sole was starting to split from the welt, but the upper was in reasonable condition. I purchased my first pair of these new shoes in Nov of '23 to have both soles splitting from the welt in about month. I returned the shoes and the second pair arrived in January of '24. With the new pair of shoes, I noticed that the toe cap area was starting to get a fuzzy texture. Almost a suede like texture. I had never seen this on a pair of Docs. I have seen scratches, but not the leather getting fuzzy. About two weeks ago, the left shoe, just aft of the toe cap where the shoe flexes, started to crack. Right now there is a fully developed crack all the way through the shoe and is about 5/8" long. The leather in the area is substantially thinner than other Docs that I have had. By eye, it seems that it is about 30-40% thinner than a pair that I have as some grunge shoes that are about 15 years old that have a crack in a similar place (but took more than 8 years to develop). To have these shoes last less than a year is really disappointing to say the least. I am looking at different shoes, and right now I am contemplating the Thursday Boot Company Statesman. It is the closest in style while having a better sole than the Doc Martens or the Solovair shoes that do not really allow for resoling. I never really worried about having to get new soles on shoes as the uppers usually wore out at about the same rate as the sole in the way that I use the shoe for a Doc Marten. I am open to suggestions, though. ... show more

  • Son loves these shoes!!
Size: 12 Women/11 Men Color: Black Industrial Full Grain
My 19 year old son needed a good quality shoe that would last and he has loved his Dr Martens! They are a great value and after the initial "breaking in", they are extremely comfortable. In fact, we bought a pair of brown ones for him also.
