The asthetic of this rug is beautiful and I really liked how it looked however, we place it in our family room where it received a lot of foot and pet traffic. In just a few days it started coming unraveled and looking really worn out in the area it got the most traffic. The "other side" that did not get as much traffic still looked great. Also, the sheer amount to dust? dirt? not sure what it is but everytime I moved it I had a mountain of dirt underneath. There was a dust imprint almost like the rug was still there. Now, it received a lot of foot traffic but I know we don't bring in THAT much dust/dirt in just a few days and it was in the entire rug, not just where we walked. So, I had to return it. Maybe it's better suited for smaller rugs/area. I love the idea of Jute rugs but just not for us. ... show more

This is the second rug I have bought and I’m about to buy another. I love this rug it’s so pretty. It is hard to vacuum I have a white dog. So vacuum on high or carpet setting because the vacuum cleaner will pull the rug up. Very chunky. Definitely recommend this rug.
