  • Awesome
Works great, well-built, love the fact that it’s adjustable

  • LOVE IT!!!
Worth every penny!!! I can't speak on how well this stand works for any other bike but a Yamaha WR250R as it is the only bike I have used it with. I waited a month before writing this review and will comment on a few things I was worried about prior to purchasing. 1) Yes, this works great for changing oil. It is not an oversized lift plate which means it takes an extra second to place it in just the right place but also means you can move the stand back where the swingarm connects lifting only the back tire leaving plenty of room to access the drain plug and not make a mess while draining. Worked like a dream!!! 2) You can lift the front tire, the rear tire, or just lift the entire bike. 3) Lift plate height is completely adjustable and very fast to adjust, just spin it a few times. 4) You can easily lift the bike barefoot with the stand and engage the safety latch with your toe, The safety latch is ROCK SOLID. My only suggestion would be to make the safety lever handle a half inch longer so I can snatch that thing with my flip flop on the first try. No problems barefoot or with shoes but flip flops are a bitch. I usually just bend over and engage it by hand. Final thoughts, for my bike, if this stand ever gets stolen I will be scrambling to find a new one. One last thought, I got the one with the red handle because it was what was in stock at the time. Glad I did because the handle sticks about 6 inches out the side of a lifted bike and while kicking it won't knock the bike off or drop it with the safety engaged, stubbing your toe on it will send those hot flashes up your spine. The RED handle is easy to see and sticks out like a sore thumb, or toe in this case, hope this helps my fellow WR riders!!!! ... show more

  • Wish it lifted higher, had bigger platform and base!
I looked at a lot of stands and I just didn't want to mess around with something failing within a year and this one looks like you had really good quality and really good reviews and specifically the platform could go up and down (14.5" for my bottom), it's for my DRZ400, it works great. I wish the platform would lock at a certain height, often I find myself hitting it and it spins up or down, I also wish the platform was bigger & wider, it's kind of hard to get the the bike centered and I wish the base was a little bit bigger also. The platforms most important that should be a little bit bigger, ok and lift higher! It actually only gets my motorcycle slightly off the ground, the tire clearances are 1 inch or so, if I take off my rear wheel my front tires going to touch and the same thing for the back🙄😒. Overall though, I probably buy it again. I really want to buy one that lifts it up three feet off the ground so you can work on it comfortably, but there's a high failure rate with those and I just don't want to deal with it. So this will be a good starter just to do basic maintenance on the bike ( and SM conversion) 😜🏍️ ... show more

  • Good stands, but not perfect
I really like these DRC lift stands. I've purchased 3 of them now and use them for some of my dirt bikes. I originally purchased one for my WR250R because it can be adjusted lower to allow it to work with supermoto tires installed. It works great for that bike because the frame sits flat and you can get both wheels off the ground. The shock absorber is also a nice feature because the bike comes down a bit softer than some other stands. The things I don't like about these stands are as follows: -The rubber on the top surface wears quickly, especially when using it with my 2-stroke bikes because the angle of the frame makes it so the bike only rests on the rear edge so it puts a lot of weight on a thin piece of rubber. -The adjusting system isn't perfect and you need to get that ring extremely tight for it to not turn with the bike's weight on it. -Of the three I've purchased, they all have some different characteristic flaw; The first one I bought won't hold the bike straight no matter what, it is always leaning to the right. Not enough to fall off or anything but it just bugs me to look at it. The next one I bought has some sort sort of clearance problem causing the pedal to be on a hair trigger when the bike is up, so the lock is pretty much required. But when I received it the lock was slightly too short to engage so I had to modify it to work. The third one I bought has a friction problem on the shaft and doesn't go up and down smoothly. ... show more

  • Nice Lift, Super Easy to Use !
Great product, works perfectly as advertised. Adjust the platform to sit just below the bike (about 5mm gap), lock it tight, and then step on the lever and voila' your bike is lifted with little effort. Had two other similar cheaper units before, and they were junk and got returned. This one is worth the money because a) it's well made and b) it's finely adjustable using a threaded collar, so you can set the height and then just slide under the bike. Lifted a Honda XL250R, a Husqvarna TE250 and a Honda CRF250L. Did not even need to change the height of the lift, one setting works fine with all three. All the bikes get off the ground effortlessly. Overall the stand is very well made, looks really nice and seems quite solid and stable. On mine the gas shock works well when you lower the bike, it is very useful. A small latch allows one to lock the lift securely when it's all the way up. I have mine set on a concrete garage floor, where it is quite stable. Nevertheless, I would not leave the bike on the stand all the time if people, dogs or children are nearby. Also, I would not recommend using this lift "as is" on dirt or any sort of softer ground, since it will easily fall over I think. On the other hand it should work fine there too, if you first slide some large plywood sheet (or similar) under it to stabilize the stand. Lift is made in Japan and comes with instructions in english and japanese. PS. You can find videos on youtube - such as 2J8tJQ36EaY - to see how easy this thing is to operate. He has it on grass btw. ... show more

  • Broke the first time I used it.
I lifted my motorcycle the first time and the metal split and the bike almost fell on top of me. I don't understand why I pay return shipping on a clearly defective item. Motorcycle weighs 300 lbs and capacity listed for this stand is 330lbs.
