Very effective at getting milk out quickly but I will say that it’s loud when pumping. This isn’t something you can do discreetly while on a zoom call or anything that requires you to be quiet.     • A Haakaa with a handle

A manual pump is important for my lifestyle for two reasons: 1. It is easy to take along for a day trip (compared to my wonderful but sort of clunky Spectra). 2. As a Sabbath observant Jew, it allows me to keep up my pumping schedule without using electricity. My first manual pump was a Medela and while it was a pleasure to use, it broke after three days of use. Apparently it can be fixed by replacing something called an O ring but I didn’t want to spend the time trying to find the right size. So, when looking for a new manual pump I came across this one and I figured it was worth a shot because it doesn’t need any special parts. It’s basically a Haakaa with a handle…and I love it! It empties me out well, is comfortable and goes straight into a Dr. Brown’s bottle, which is what my baby uses anyway. It’s easy to clean, easy to control the pace, and just makes my life easier as an exclusive pumper. I know I can rely on this pump. I highly recommend it! ... show more

Great pump to use but has a SUPER STRONG suction. It does have 2 suction strengths but even the first level can give you pain on initial use each time.
