The Dr. Arthritis Inguinal Hernia helps relieve the pain in my lower abdomen. I don't know for sure if I have a hernia since the CT scan of my lower abdomen was negative. I am just glad that with this groin support and taking some painkillers, I feel much better. This groin hernia belt was a little hard to put on at first because I was unsure where to attach the straps to the belt. Putting it on was easier once I figured out how. The hernia belt came with 4 compression foam pads and could be put on top of where the pain is located. There is also a Dr. Arthritis Handbook that explains how to use it, tips for optimal comfort and support, strengthening exercises, and FAQs. I found the sizing chart on the website helpful in selecting the right belt for me.

Not sure who they are building this for, but I wish they would size it according to say a normal size guide. I usually where XXL, shirt and say sweat pants. I ordered the XL hernia belt and the under leg straps are probably 2 times the length that is usable. I think I should probably have ordered a medium. I'm not even sure, but XL must equate to XXXL or something. The waist strap is also too big, which I guess that makes sense, but that does tighten enough. Basically I can't use this belt because the under leg straps are so long you cannot tighten it down enough to be useful. Maybe I'll have my wife modify the straps. otherwise quality seems good and I think overall it would work well if the straps were not so long. They need to add a sizing guide to the product page. That may have helped.

Belts, such as this one, can come in handy for those annoying abdominal 'blowouts.' So, this one was ordered in case it might be needed some day. It was delivered in 4 days which matched the estimated delivery date. The belt was in good condition and was inside a mesh storage bag which was inside a clear, zip-lock bag. This one is an XL which should easily fit an area 50 inches in circumference. Perhaps more. The main section varies between 3 and 5 inches wide. The belt is well designed and constructed. It is made from a material which is firm but not rough on the skin due to its inner liner. The waist is adjusted via a Velcro strap and two front-to-back Velcro straps which provide adjustable pressure to the lower abdominal region. All three straps are elastic and allow for lots of flexibility and tension adjustment.
