Let me emphasize that these are very good pillows and absolutely worth the price, HOWEVER, comparing these pillows to high-end down is not accurate. I need to replace some aging down pillows that I paid about $100 a piece for a few years ago. While these pillows are very good, I can absolutely tell where that extra money went. If you want a good quality pillow that is probably better than anything you’d get at a brick and mortar store, these fit the bill. If you want the absolute best, keep shopping. (Again, this retailer does not claim that and the quality is absolutely worth the price. I had just hoped for more based on the effusive praise of the reviewers and don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake.) ... show more

I won't get into exactly what ratio of down/feather is inside the pillow (i have no idea) but ill tell you what actually matters. My wife is obsessed with finding the perfect pillow, she buys the latest and greatest new tech in pillows every few months ( so much money on pillows...) I have used the same down pillow for 12 years and its near flat. so I did my homework and purchased this pillow. you cannot feel any Feather barbs in the pillow and though there is a barrier of some type it is not that plastic that crinkles and crunches. When you lay on it the pillow slowly releases air until your head is cradled on top of the ample down and it was blissful until my wife tried it. Now it is hers. I may have lost an outstanding pillow but she has not complained about or expressed any interest in a new pillow since. Lucky for me I got the 2 pack! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love these pillows! Very comfortable and very good quality. Definitely deserve 5 stars. I have slept on them for two nights now and honestly wish I would have bought them a long time ago because they are so great! They are fluffy and soft. Such good quality.

My feather and down pillow gave up the ghost about 7 months ago. It had been mine for many years and was just the right amount of fluffy & squishy. I've been squeezing pillows in all the stores we visit ever since and come up short. Mostly they are too fluffy and I tried to make do all this time with cheaper and much too lofty pillows and had a sore neck ever since. Was starting to liken my pillow to the beds in the story of Goldilock & the Three Bears....sigh I then ordered these from Amazon, figuring I could easily return them, (and probably would!), but what a great price! And you get two! Hallelujah! These are exactly what I've been searching for! Fluffed up immediately after removing from the package, perfect amount of squish for when I lay on my side or stomach, highly huggable and with a high thread count so no feathers poke out~I say again, Hallelujah! I don't think that a lot of people rating these pillows are pillow snobs. Yes your head does go all the way down which is what it's supposed to but there's not enough fill in it to make it comfortable it's just flat and it shouldn't be. There was also a smell coming from the pillow within which means that the birds were not cleaned I don't know but this is definitely not a pillow that's worth 4 stars. Since I've ordered Pacific down pillows before I think I will order those from Amazon. I know that Sorbella has awesome pillows and they make pillows for Aria the Bellagio. Amazon carries both looking to them you would definitely get a good deal on your pillows. They both are US based companies. ... show more

    • Godd But Not Amazing

Based on the reviews I was hoping for an amazing pillow. These are a good value and will definitely give you a decent night sleep if you are a feather pillow devotee. Discount department stores offer the same pillows for about the same price - if you can find them in stock - they go fast. The cover and value are five star, comfort, etc is a little above a 3 star so I compromised with four stars overall. These are not 100% down and they do not purport to be - they clearly state the percentage of down opposed to feathers, so keep that in mind. They conform nicely to your head and neck giving you neck support without propping your head at an unnatural angle but once you are all conformed you will find the pillow under your head feels kind of hard. But that said, you will also find if you want to sleep on your side you can conform the pillow to give you plenty of support so your neck/head are still at a neutral angle. They are a good solid value (especially with the coupon) for the money and I would definitely buy them again unless I can afford a pillow with a higher percentage of down. ... show more

Writing this review at 3:00 a.m. because I cannot sleep on this flat rock hard sad disappointing pillow. They look pretty and fluffy when you put them on the bed shortly after you lay your head on them they go completely flat and lump into a weird heavy blob of a pillow that feels more like a bag of sand. ... show more
