So I installed right before camping. Brought my winch to install it, it's a different pattern, smaller 2,000lbs winch. I'll need to drill holes. But to use my press, I need to get it off.. lost the keys. However I did use it to pull someone out. Just threw the strap around it and pulled, worked great. I have used it as a step, and even thought about stealing a small cooler to it. But for my winch I'll probably end up just doing it on the sxs. Really need to find that key though. ... show more

The material is thick steel and the whole mount feels much more substantial than the cheaper brackets I’ve seen. My winch sits securely with very little unwanted movement, and I like that I can take the setup from the truck to the trailer as needed. Strong, stable, and genuinely useful.
