This 2-step folding stool gets the job done. Minor nicks in the paint and finish despite the protective film you have to peel off point to questionable quality control, but the stepladder seems sturdy enough. The instruction manual was in Chinese, and the graphics were of the vendor’s taller stepladders. This unit arrived fully assembled and thankfully doesn’t require instructions. The first thing I noticed when I unwrapped this step stool was the instruction sheet. First, it doesn’t look like it pertains to this particular step stool, and 2nd, there’s no English. There are drawings but they look like 3-step & 4-step stools/ladders that extend. Other than that, I’m clueless as to any other information it contains. This is a very sturdy, well-built 2-step stool that’s 24” tall when open and 26” tall when folded closed. The first step is 10” off the ground, the 2nd one is 8” above that, and the platforms are stable when I stand on them. There’s no handle so I’ll use it in an area where I can balance myself with a wall or sturdy shelf. When folded closed, it’s less than 2” deep, and it stands alone, which makes it compact and easy to store. The plastic feet are angled so they sit flat when it’s open. There are safety warnings on the ladder that do include English. This is the perfect step stool for me to use and store in my closet. I’m able to quickly get things from higher shelves without having to get a small ladder from the garage. Because it’s 18” wide and 2” deep when folded, it neatly slides between my dresser and the wall. The negatives for me are the instruction sheet I can’t read, and the cost.     • Exactly what I was looking for - super lightweight and steady

This seems to be a product shipped directly from China for selling on Amazon for US customers. However, you don't really need anything written in English in order to quickly figure out how to use it effectively. The best about this ladder is that it's super lightweight. Technically, I can use a single pinky to lift it and place it wherever I want. Surprisingly, it's also very steady once you push it to fully open up. For safety reasons, I checked every screw on this ladder and found none of them was potentially loose. Additionally, it can be folded down to something like a half iron board. This stool is pretty well designed. It’s lightweight, but stable. The locking mechanism is safe and it’s easy to fold up and put away. It’s higher than other two step stools I’ve had and the base is pretty wide.

I like the wide width of this two-step ladder and the non-skid rubber feet. It folds flat for storage in narrow spaces, which is also a plus. With no handle, it is best used near a bank of high cabinets or shelving to balance the upper body while climbing. Weight limit is listed as 150 kg (330 lbs), and I believe it would hold. All instructions on the paper insert are in Chinese, but some in English are printed on the stepladder. No instructions really needed -- easy to open & close.
