Great stress reliever! The pictures are beautiful and intricate. They are on one side of the page only to prevent any possible bleed through. I loved coloring as a kid and I love it even more as an adult

I love it! There are so many different designs! I would definitely put a piece or two of scratch paper underneath the page you are coloring just to make sure it won’t bleed through. I can’t say enough good things!

Nice large book! This can be a great thing or a not so great thing. I love that there are different shapes and patterns however avLOT of them look almost exactly alike,...     • #1 Mandala coloring book.
I have had many, many mandala/anxiety relief coloring books in my 40 years of life, but this one is by far the best and most thoughtful. Pros: * Each design is on its own piece of paper. There is no front and back design! * The back of each sheet is completely black and that ends up looking really nice on finished pieces. * Each design is different and are nice quality, artistically beautiful and unique. * This is a pretty large book with many pages. * Across the book, there is a variety of intricate detail. * Doesn't really bleed too bad, considering I'm using super bright permanent sharpie-type markers. * Each sheet of paper has a nice thickness. Cons: * The black color on the opposite side of each design does slightly alter marker colors until they are dry. * Book is not perforated, so I used a box cutter to pre-cut each page out and use the binding as a folder. * Does bleed a tiny bit with heavily inked markers, but this can be helped with a single sheet of paper in between. Honestly, the cons are nothing. This book is fantastic and I will likely buy it over and over again each time I get low on pages in the current one. On the other hand, I purchased several other mandala books at the same time by another author that, while the designs were gorgeous, the paper may as well have been toilet paper because the markers feather and bleed like a murder scene. Thank you, author/publisher for making sure to release and create a high quality and anxiety free book for me to use as a relaxation method! I LOVE IT AND I LOVE YOU ALL FOR IT! ... show more

Extremely disappointed in the paper quality. Even more irritated that the Lb/Gsm or weight of the paper isn’t mentioned anywhere in the listing!! If it had been, I would have clicked on… If you use gel pens Do Not Buy any of her books!! I might purchase a digital copy so I can print on my own paper & customize the size- maybe. I’ve been coloring for years & I could tell immediately by the feel of the paper that it was sub-standard. Another reviewer said it well “It feels like paper found in children’s coloring books”. Then there were all kinds of 5 star reviews… I bought several books by Jade Summers because they had such high reviews, and on screen the designs looked pretty. I was so excited for them to arrive. Now I’m returning every single one, imagine my disappointment. Now I must wade through an ocean of books to find new ones. I have a few books with great paper & I’m now shopping for more books from those publishers- Creative Haven and arsEdition – they have great paper quality suitable for gel pens. The Jade Summer color by number’s books have very few “number’s” per design i.e. boring when finished- the designs are overly simplistic - more for kids than adults; not to mention the color palate was apparently created by someone who is color blind. None of the numbers can be colored over, it’s obvious when you look at them (printed too dark). And the paper quality really stinks. 3 Stars only because I do like some of the designs. ... show more
