I bought this to replace a single hot plate we'd been limping along with, and it's been a big upgrade. Having two burners on one 1800W unit means you can't run both at full blast simultaneously (the wattage splits between them), but for everyday cooking — simmering sauce on one side while boiling pasta on the other — it handles it just fine once you understand that limitation. The induction heating is fast. Water boils noticeably quicker than on our old coil stove, and the 9 temperature settings give enough range to go from a gentle melt-the-butter low to a proper sear. The LED display is easy to read, and the timer has been surprisingly handy for things like rice and soft-boiled eggs — set it and it shuts the burner off automatically. A few things worth knowing before you buy: you need induction-compatible cookware (magnetic bottom — if a fridge magnet sticks to your pan, you're good). The fan is audible while cooking, though not annoying. And the safety lock is a nice touch if you have kids or curious pets, plus the surface stays relatively cool outside the pan area. We've also taken it on two RV trips and it's ideal for that — lightweight, plugs into a standard 110v outlet, and easy to wipe down since the glass top is completely flat. Only minor gripe: the lowest setting still cycles on and off rather than holding a true constant low, so delicate tasks like melting chocolate need some babysitting. Otherwise, no complaints after about three months of near-daily use. This portable double burner induction cooktop is great as this is my first time experience with induction cooktop. I used my Bluetti Elite 200 V2 portable solar generator to test this cooktop because of the output display. I first tried using one burner on the boil setting which says 1800W on the cooktop's display but it was actually pulling 1300W. Once I added another pot and had both burners going I was pulling just under 1800W of power with both burners set to boil. I did notice that the larger pot takes longer to boil than the smaller pot and that the burner on the larger pot dropped to 800W before it got to a full boil. This cooktop does have a residual heat indicator light letting you know that the surface is "HOT" even after you power off the burner for safety reasons. Because this cooktop pulls 1800W continuously with both burners on you're probably going to want to make sure that your plugging it into a circuit that doesn't have anything else running especially if it's a 15A circuit. I plan to use this cooktop while camping and I will be charging by solar generator from a 450W solar panel which means that I shouldn't have any issues generating enough electricity to run this type of cooktop. I would recommend this product.

Our stove top cracked and we used this while we waited for it to be replaced. It’s not as powerful as the one on the stove, but it will boil water and all of that on a regular outlet. It’s easy to clean and fairly easy to store. Intuitive to figure out the controls. It would be a handy thing if you have a camper and it doesn’t have a stove in the kitchen.
